forza horizon 2 map sizeNew images have surfaced of Forza Horizon 2, depicting the large world size we can expect to find in the game. Forza Horizon was the first time Turn 10 took the game to an open world platform, and whilst the concept was pretty neat for a Forza game, it wasn't all that it could be.

This time round though, Forza Horizon 2 could be everything we could want from an open world racing sim, and the newly released pictures show off just how large the world will be in the new game.

Turn 10 have taken inspiration from some of France's and Italy's most beautiful areas and combined them into one single open world area that expands to three times the size of the original Forza Horizon game.

On top of having what we expect to be a set of incredible environments, Forza Horizon 2 will have a variety of different random weather effects that can change the road conditions and the overall appearance of the game. As you can see in the map picture shown above, a large amount of the world is base in rural environments instead of an urban setting like many tracks from previous Forza games.

Obviously, on top of the absolutely huge open world map, Forza Horizon 2 will get treated to Turn 10's wide range of cars that have been slowly built up since the original Forza games. Expect 100's of cars, beautiful visuals and hours of great open world driving fun with Forza Horizon 2 - the game will be released on September 30th for Xbox One and Xbox 360.
