Medal of Honor: Warfighter Multiplayer

There isn't a TON of info available regarding the multiplayer but, there has been some nifty details discovered over the last few days and I thought I might sum it up.

First of all, the 12 Tier 1 operators from a total of 10 countries that we will be able to get our hands on in the multiplayer have been confirmed:

SAS - British Special Air Service Regiment
SEAL - US Navy's primary Special Operation Force
SFOD-D - US Army's primary Counter Terrorist Force
OGA - US' Other Government Agencies is a mix elites from different backgrounds
JTF2 - Canada's elite CT force - Joint Task Force 2
GROM - Poland's elite CT Force
KSK - Germany's CT Force
SASR - Australian Army's premier SOF
UDT - South Korea's UDT/Seals an elite SOF
FSK - Norway's primary SOF
SOG - Sweden's elite SOF
Spetsnaz - Russia's special purpose CT force

The option of being able to represent you own country is definitely going to bring about some patriotism and with that some added intensity. What I am waiting for is to see how these teams are different teams and which one is the right one for me!

MoH: Warfighter is also going to incorporate something called Fire Teams which would pair you up with another player. This would not only help you survive but also add a layer of strategy, team play and tactics. It is essentially a sleeker version of BF's Squad mechanic. If you die, you will spawn right next to your partner. Taking it a step further, team members will be able to spot each other's outline through buildings etc. That way even if you two split up, you will always know where your partner is.

Final thing I want to mention is the multiplayer trailer that was released. I don't know about you guys, but to me it looked amazing. Thanks to the Frostbite 2 engine the graphics look superb. EA is claiming that MoH: Warfighter is actually going to look better than BF3!

The action also looks fast paced but that of course is thanks to the editing. What really got me going are the sounds, it really gets you pumped! I especially love the way the whole camera shakes because of nearby explosions, fantastic. Really get the impact across.

Well the MoH: Warfighter is set to release on the 23rd of October this year and I can't wait to find out more. I really hope this iteration will make me happier than Medal of Honor 2010.  Check out the multiplayer trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1xG9T6h4foA
