Call of Duty has brought the world a type of gamer that likes to impress, and whether you're the guy with 1337 360 NoScope skills, or the person getting frustrated on the other end of the barrel, by the time Titanfall is on your console, it's going to be a different story.

no quick scoping titanfall

A developer at Respawn Entertainment has spoke to the community about snipers, he started by stating that snipers will be an important part of Titanfall, but the nature of snipers in Titanfall is different to how they work in most modern military shooters, and the mechanics in Titanfall will make your COD snipers skills ineffective.

"Sniping is in the game, but due to how the game plays it's a pretty different animal than you'll find in your run of the mill modern military shooter. Quick scoping and no scoping are ineffective."

So far, no more details have been given on how snipers will work in Titanfall, but I can imagine that sniping will be rendered useless unless scoped in and remaining still, making snipers vulnerable targets whilst aiming for shots with their powerful weapons.

I'm sure players will find a way to try and "cheat" the snipers in Titanfall, but no matter how you try to use your sniper in Titanfall, no scoping and quick scoping certainly won't be an overpowered tactic like it is in Call of Duty.

Titanfall will be released exclusively to Xbox One and PC, and will be released on the 13th of March.
