telltale games ps4 xbox oneIt has now been revealed that Telltale Games are gearing up to release both The Wolf Among Us and The Walking Dead Season 2 for the Xbox One and PS4 this year.

Both of the episodic series' from Telltale Games will be put up for sale on the digital store, available for players to purchase separately on both the PS4 PlayStation Network and the Xbox One Games Store.

Whilst the digital versions offer players the flexibility to buy each episode separately, there will also be a physical retail version of each game released around the same time that will include a compilation of all episodes within each game.

To top this off, a game of the year edition of The Walking Dead Season one will also be released for the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 shortly, and it will include the entirety of Season 1, along with the 400 Days DLC episode.

Whilst a definitive release date has not yet been revealed, Telltale Games have mentioned that the digital downloads and the retail compilations will be released at some point this November, however it's possible that the PS4 and Xbox One Season 1 GOTY version may not be released till later in the year.

Whilst the digital versions will be put onto the PS4 and Xbox One, the retail compilations will also be put up for sale for the PS Vita, the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. We'll let you know more as soon as we know a definite release date.
