The Crew 2 Pre-order And Release Details Published

Thanks to an announcement at Gamescom, we now have a release date and pre-order details for the upcoming racer, The Crew 2.

Firstly, it has now been confirmed that the release date for The Crew 2 has been locked in for March 16, 2018. On this release date, the game will be released for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

While the full release is still quite a way away, The Crew 2 developers are running a beta that should start this year. The beta sign-ups are available on the website for The Crew 2.

Like its predecessor, The Crew 2 is a racing game that features an open world environment that players can race in. The Crew 2 is set in an open world version of USA. For the first time in this franchise, players will also be able to race in planes and boats in The Crew 2.

While there are opportunities for different methods of transport, most of the events will be focused on standard cars. There will be four different types of events to support cars. The event types will be street racing, off-road, pro, and freestyle.

The method with which players can switch between different vehicle types is interesting. Players can tap a button to instantly swap out their vehicle for another. For example, if a player were to take a large jump in a car, they can then swap out for a plane.
