Respawn has now announced that Titanfall, the futuristic next gen first person shooter, will be available on the Xbox One, the Xbox 360 and PC on March 11, 2014 in North America, and March 13 in Europe and Australia.

Respawn have also given details on their super expensive Titanfall collector's edition that includes a bunch of goodies for a grand total of $249.99. The collector's edition comes with a collectible 18 inch hand crafted titan statue and diorama with a battery-powered LED lighting system on the titan, as well as a full size art book with over 190 pages of the game's concept art, as well as a schematic of the Atlas Titan in the form of a poster.

The collector's edition also includes a copy of the game, however details on whether this will be Xbox One exclusive have not been given yet.

Titanfall has been hailed by critics as a breath of fresh air in the FPS franchise, by including all new forms of combat, such as a smooth mech combat system and the 3D and almost parkour-like foot soldier jetpack combat.

Previous reports have suggested that Titanfall will be a timed exclusive, despite reports from Microsoft stating otherwise. Many believe that Titanfall will eventually make it to the PlayStation 4, so although this game looks great, it may be worth waiting instead of splashing out a load of cash on the Xbox One just for the game.
