Gaming Controllers, Which Console Design is #1?
No doubt over the years we have seen companies like Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo as the frontrunners in gaming, change their controllers or make new ones to help feed this era of technology driven individuals. After stumbling upon an article about which controller is the best, it came down to the Xbox 360 controller and the PS3 controller.
Over many years of trying to remodel their controllers, I do sincerely agree that the Xbox 360 and the PS3 controllers are the best that the market has to offer as of late. Which one is better [...]

A Wiimote Explodes Due to Parents Putting Lithium Batteries instead of Regular Alkaline Ones
Just recently, a Belleville, Michigan family came home to find their room full of smoke. However, it wasn't a fire that created the smoke, it was one of their Wii remotes. How? Well it exploded. Luckily nobody was hurt since they were out of the house while it happened. The only damage was the shrapnel flying through the room and damaging a few parts of the house.
So how did the Wii-mote explode? Well the family didn't know that in the manual for the Wii, Nintendo advises for [...]

The Online Streaming Service Will Soon Be on the Wii and the 3DS
Hulu Plus, thesubscription streaming TV service, will be available on both the 3DS and Wii in the near future, according to an article on Joystiq. Though you are likely to make some jabs like "time to dust off my Wii" or "I thought that console was only used by the elderly and casual gamer", we should remind you that the Wii beats out both the PS3 and Xbox 360 when it comesto streaming Netflix. Hence, the perfect target audience to market for Hulu Plus.
The only other piece of information [...]

Wii U
There are lots of reasons to be excited with all of the new games, and technology being released at the 2011 E3 convention. Personally, I am extremely amped about the new Nintendo products that have made their debut at E3, continuing along line of great products and games. The biggest release for Nintendo has been the Wii U, which from demo trailers looks to be very enticing.
The Wii U utilizes both your television screen and a streamline touch screen remote to offer a unique gaming experience. It is set to be released in 2012,and I cannot wait to [...]

Nintendo confirms that the Wii's successor will be arriving in 2012.
Nintendo has recently confirmed the release of the successor to the Wii. While no name has been announced for it yet, they are planning to reveal it at this year's E3 convention. They did release information that the new console will go on sale in 2012.
While the sales of this new Nintendo console hasn't been included in Nintendo's forecasts (that go up till March 2012), it is believed we won't see it until something Spring 2012 or after.
There is a code name for this project, it's called "Project Cafe [...]

No Meatboy on Wii due to Memory Limitations
Team Meat's creation will not be on Wii according to this Kotaku article, due to the fact that Super Meat Boy cannot wedge itself into the size limitations set for Nintendo's WiiWare software. Team Meat tried to get a publisher for a retail release, but they have confirmed that the Wii version will not be happening.
The original game of Super Meat Boy is over the 40 megabyte cap limit for WiiWare. It is possible to fit if there were sacrifices but Edmund McMillen and Tommy Refenses (creators of the meat based game) stated [...]

Game Review - Kirby's Epic Yarn
Entertainment Weekly dubbed Kirbys Epic Yarn as the worst game from 2010. Jeff Jensen a writer for the company disagreed with many of the outstanding reviews the game had received. And what was his explanation for his provocative decision? Jensen said, Theres a fine line between cute and grating, delightfully busy and irritatingly overwhelming – and for me, this hyperactively adorable side-scrolling puzzler crosses it.While Jensens personal opinion varied from many other people, just like Jensen the many other people did not keep their opinions to themselves. Jensen received many tweets over twitter where they [...]

What are the Most loved motion control games out there?
Kinect games are good examples of the specific limbo that motion controlled games are in. Most of them fall into the casual party-game genre. They're sufficient to show the capabilities of the hardware, but never really push them to their limits nor ask the gamer to test them to their full potential. For a pre-Wii generation, this would be acceptable, but we've had a Wii for a few years now, where are our motion controlled Gears of War or non-Nintendo made Mario Galaxies? Where are the triple-A titles with motion controlled [...]
