We talked a little bit about the next Gearbox game last week, but back then, all we knew about it was that it was going to be a new game within the Borderlands IP. We still know very few details about the game, but we do now know a title, (or a subtitle at least) as well as a bit more information.
The next borderlands has been named as Borderlands 3, so it should continue directly from where the other two left off, instead of branching off into a different direction like Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel did.
Another very interesting piece of information shared by Gearbox recently is that Borderlands 3 will not be making it's way to any other consoles other than current gen. We do expect it will be released for PC, but besides from that, only PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players will be able to get their hands on the next Gearbox game.
This is an understandable move - the hardware in older consoles are likely to just keep the development and potential of the game to a bare

DICE has announced that they will be releasing the Heist mode into the upcoming Battlefield Hardline beta, but there is a catch. Players will need to work together as a community to unlock the Heist mode.
A new 'community mission' has been announced for Battlefield 4 players, and it asks players to accumulate a global total of 2 billion points in Battlefield 4's Rush mode. If players manage to reach this goal before the end of the month, then players will be rewarded with the Heist mode for Battlefield Hardline.
Whilst this seems like an odd move to get more people playing Battlefield 4 in anticipation for Hardline, I have a feeling that the 2 billion Rush points should easily be reached. In fact, I expect that the average amount of weekly Rush points is close enough to two billion anyway so players should not have to worry about getting the Heist mode unlocked for the Hardline beta.
If you do want to do your part, you can head into Battlefield 4 and play through any

Whilst Zenimax Studios have been busy preparing the release of the Elder Scrolls Online for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One, another MMO developer has been working on something else that could completely ruin the release of the ESO.
The game in question is Neverwinter, a free to play MMO that landed on the PC in 2013. In February this year, the same Neverwinter that made it to PC will be coming to the Xbox One in the form of a closed beta.
The closed beta will be accessible to a limited amount of players, chosen from a pool of players who have signed up for beta access on the Neverwinter website. The beta will last for three days and will begin on the 5th of February.
Whilst Neverwinter is free to play, an Xbox Live Gold membership will be required to play it. In the new version of Neverwinter, aimed for consoles, the game will be compatible with the Xbox friends list so players can easily team up together for dungeons, quests or PVP.

If you are looking to buy Evolve, you may want to consider getting a pre-order in. The developers of Evolve have just announced that the game has gone gold, and to celebrate they are offering some in-game rewards for anybody that chooses to pre-order the digital copy of the game.
If you pre-order the digital version of Evolve on the Xbox One, you will be given free access to the open beta that is going to take place on January 15th. This beta will included one monster named Wraith, and four hunters, named Parnell, Abe, Caira and Cabot.
As well as having a little sneaky access to this content in the beta version of Evolve, players who pre-order the digital version of the game for Xbox One will also be given the same five characters at launch for free, straight from day one.
Those who do not pre-order Evolve, or who play on another platform, will need to unlock the aforementioned characters to be able to play as them.
This seems like a nice deal for those who want

Since the launch of Killer Instinct for the Xbox One, the developers behind the game have been slowly releasing more content for it over time. Perhaps the most exciting part of any new content releases for Killer Instinct are the introduction of new characters, or more specifically in this case, the re-introduction of characters from the franchise that did not make it into the game at launch.
One such character is Riptor, and Microsoft Studios have just revealed their plans to bring him to the new Killer Instinct on the Xbox One. Riptor featured in the original Killer Instinct game, and is a hybrid between a human and a velociraptor. The character stands out from the crowd of other humanoid fighters in the game, not only for it's appearance, but for it's unique move set as well.
Riptor will be entering the new Killer Instinct as part of the Killer Instinct 2 DLC, which will put players back a total of $19.99 for the Combo Breaker Season 2 pack, and a total of $39.99 for the

When it comes to any news about Final Fantasy, there are often a lot of mixed feelings. Whilst there are certain games in the franchise that many gamers have come to despite, there are also timeless classics that everybody adores, and one such game is going to be getting a new HD treatment in anticipation for a PlayStation 4 launch.
The game in question is Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD, and whilst this game has already had an HD remaster for the PS Vita and the PlayStation 3, it will be the first time this game has been ported over to the newest Sony console.
Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD will be launched for the PlayStation 4 and it will be made available both from the PlayStation network and from within select brick and mortar retail stores early next year.
It is expected that the new HD remaster won't have many improvements over the previously released PS3 and PS Vita versions, although there may be some unexpected surprises. We will have to wait for the launch to see what Square

So a new gameplay trailer of Uncharted 4 was just released, and the internet has been taken aback by how amazing the game currently looks. Personally, I'm not all that surprised at the quality of the fourth Uncharted installment, and I'll tell you why.
Every time Naughty Dog have released a new game, their attention to detail has always been on point - they managed to release the Last of Us on the PS3 and make it look incredible, and every Uncharted release has always been miles ahead of every other game released in it's time in terms of graphical integrity.
This time round, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End certainly looks like the best game the PlayStation 4 will have to offer, and everything from the sweat on Drake's back, to the pores in his face are textured by hand, and it's just phenomenal how Naughty Dog continue to amaze with the quality of their games.
Something that really got me interested about the latest gameplay video was the amazing combat - it seems every

Out of nowhere, Capcom has confirmed that Street Fighter 5 is in the works, but the most surprising bit of news from Capcom's announcement was it's decision to make Street Fighter 5 an exclusive for the PlayStation 4.
The Street Fighter franchise has always been available on both Xbox and PlayStation, so it is odd to see Capcom suddenly move over to PlayStation 4 only. The only thing we can think of is Sony have managed to offer Capcom a payout they couldn't turn down, and as a result the game has been given PS4 exclusivity.
Interestingly, Street Fighter 5 will also be made available for the PC, but it's console exclusivity remains on the PlayStation 4.
A full gameplay reveal trailer for Street Fighter 5 was released by Capcom, but it has since been set to private - perhaps the development company and publisher isn't quite ready to reveal the game to the world just yet.
Either way, we can expect to see some real gameplay of Street Fighter 5 fairly shortly, and

Telltale are pretty good at telling tales, let's be honest. They created the award winning The Walking Dead series, managed to live up to their high expectations with The Wolf Among Us, and very recently they returned to their story-telling roots by releasing Tales of The Borderlands - a great new game that follows the concoction Telltale are known for whilst exploring the backstory behind the Borderlands universe.
Now, they have plans to release their in-development Game of Thrones game, and it's launch date has been set for December 2nd. On this date, the first part of a six episode series will be released for PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PlayStation 4, with an iOS release following shortly after.
It seems that the entire Game of Thrones six-piece series will be available for just $30, although details on whether players will be able to buy each episode separately have not yet been mentioned by anyone at Telltale.

It's always exciting to hear about what games Capcom are currently working, and it's especially exciting at a time like this when the new generation of consoles is desperately in need of new games.
Fortunately, according to reports Capcom is gearing up to announce a brand new PlayStation 4 game, and it should hopefully be something to dance about. Whilst we aren't sure about what game Capcom could possibly have up their sleeves just yet, Jun Takeuchi, Capcom company director recently mentioned in an interview with Famitsu that "PlayStation 4 development has been ongoing."
In response to this, Takeuchi also mentioned that it's taken a while for Capcom to get to grips with the new system. "SCE has made a really incredible system for us," Takeuchi said. "But the more I use the system the more it seems there is to uncover."
When asked about if Capcom had plans to release any PS4 games we do not yet know about, Takeuchi had a very positive response. "Of course. Right now
