This week Bethesda has straight up announced a brand new prequel to Wolfenstein the New Order. The prequel will be a standalone game, as opposed to DLC content, and it has been named Wolfenstein: The Old Blood.
As with The New Order, The Old Blood will put players in the shoes of B.J. Blazkowics as he fights his way through the game's Nazi antagonists. In the first mission, players will find themselves in Castle Wolfenstein, and they will be instructed to kill a maniacal prison warden.
The second mission will then take place in Wilfburg, where B.J. Blazkowics will come face to face with "obsessed Nazi archaeologist" who is exhuming mysterious artifacts that threaten to unleash a dark and ancient power.
The standalone prequel will only include the two missions listed above, so it's definitely a very short experience, so it's odd that Bethesda did not decide to offer it as part of an expansion to The New Order.
Wolfenstein The Old Blood is set to release on May

Thanks to a preview feature from a German magazine and a bunch of translators over at the NeoGaf forums, we now have a bunch more details about the Wither 3 in anticipation for it's launch.
There is so much information to go through, so we'll list some of the biggest reveals from the magazine. Firstly, the feature suggests that there will be two large cities, Novigrad and Oxenfurt, both of which will be bustling with life.
No Man's Land will feature 25 smaller towns and cities, and some of these will be around the same size of Flotsam from The Witcher 2.
Interestingly, the best items in The Witcher 3 must be crafted, and all equipped items will appear on Geralt in-game. Thankfully, they have gotten rid of the fist fighting quick time events, and it's been replaced with a fighting style similar to standard weapon fighting.
One quirky feature is that Geralt's beard will grow over time, and you can go to a barber to cut it's length. The HUD in The Witcher 3 will

As expected, Tekken 7 has now launched in Japan, and from what we have seen so far it is looking like a pretty impressive game. Tekken 7 was already available in a select few arcade machines across Tokyo, but the game has now fully launched to console, and those in Japan can head in store to pick up a copy of the game.
Tekken 7 has released with 20 different characters, although more are planned as extra content later on in the game's life. Five of these characters are brand new to the game, one of which is the end boss for the story mode.
On top of the new characters, two new mechanics have been introduced to Tekken 7. The first is called Rage Art, and this gives players the ability to perform a series of unblockable moves that do a portion of the standard damage of the attacks they perform.
The next new mechanic is called Power Crush, and it will allow players to continue attacking, even whilst being attacked by the enemy. This ability does have it's limitations though,

Ever been frustrated by a player quitting on you in an online match on Tekken, Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter? I know I have, and it seems quite common for players to disconnect just before you pull in a victory.
Fortunately, NetherRealm have implemented a new finishing move to Mortal Kombat X that should put disconnectors and rage quitters to shame. In Mortal Kombat X, any plays that purposely disconnect from a game will have their heads implode (in-game of course.) and the opposing player's character will stand there, with a slight smirk on his face.
The whole procedure has been called a Quitality, and it will happen every time a player quits in the middle of a fight. The win will go straight to the player who remained in the game, whilst the disconnected player will be given a loss.
Whilst it's not clear, I'm expecting that the Quitality will happen even if a player's internet goes down, or they get disconnected for a reason out of their control. There's no details

At long last, From Software's new PlayStation 4 exclusive Bloodborne has gone gold, which means the development team have done everything they need to do to ship the product to disc in preparation for the launch of the game.
I'm personally quite excited to see Bloodborne - from what we've seen so far, the game looks like a great example of what From Software are known best for. Their Dark Souls and Demon Souls games have always been great, but Bloodborne takes a slightly different path by offering a more forgiving gameplay experience for players.
When I say more forgiving, I do mean that you're not going to die as often, but that doesn't mean we can't expect Bloodborne to be a nice challenge. In fact, I think it will be a very challenging game, but I'm hoping the frustration that was found by many players whilst playing Dark Souls 1 and 2 won't be present in Bloodborne.
Whilst Bloodborne has already seen a delay, going gold means we will now not see any more delays,

I was pretty excited for Uncharted 4. I still am, but now I've had to prolong my excitement just a little bit because the game has now been delayed. Naughty Dog have revealed that the new Uncharted game still needs more time, and they have delayed the launch window to Spring 2016.
Considering the game was originally planned to release at some point near the end of 2015, the extra few months of waiting really isn’t that much of a big deal. This extra time will also allow Naughty Dog to make Uncharted 4 as best they possibly can.
"After spending so many years with Nathan Drake, he means a lot to the team, and telling the climactic chapter of his adventures is a task we don't take lightly - this game deserves every bit of the attention to detail, precise pacing, and nuanced storytelling Naughty Dog is known for," Naughty Dog director, Neil Druckmann said in a new update.
"We've made the difficult choice of pushing the game's release date. Giving us a few extra months will -

As you probably are aware, heists have finally been released for GTA Online. In the latest update, heists were added, as well as a few other details.
The most obvious and exciting part of the heists update is of course the heists. There are a total of five different heists in online, although the first one is a basic tutorial heist, explaining the basics for a team of two players.
The next four heists are full scale missions that can be completed with you and three of your friends. There are different difficulty modes to make the heists more challenging, and various monetary rewards in the millions for completing all of the heists with the same team members.
It's not just the heists in the new update though. Whilst Rockstar have not yet released any patch notes for it, the new update has a few other small things worth mentioning. Firstly, players can now choose to paint all of the rims in the chrome color, instead of using the single chrome plated rim.

According to new rumors, we can expect to see a very large new firmware update for the PlayStation 4 in March that will bring a range of new features to the system. The main source of these rumors comes from industry insider, Tidux, who has been well known to get his rumors right.
According to Tidux, the new firmware update will hit at the end of March, on or around the 29th of the month. Unfortunately, Tidux did not mention what new features will be released, other than "big features" are coming.
It is a shame Tidux could not go into more detail, so we can only speculate about what features could be released at the end of this month. There are still many features that are missing from the PlayStation 4 that could be added, and there are probably many more that Sony want to add that we've never heard of as well.
Some believe the new update could include the suspend/resume feature that was previously announced to release to combat the lack of DLNA on the PlayStation

The Mortal Kombat franchise has always put a lot of thought and development into the stories of each of the characters, so when announcing brand new characters, you can bet NetherRealm Studios will make a big deal out of it.
Recently, a new trailer was released, and alongside delving into part of the story players will experience in Mortal Kombat X, three new characters were announced for the game.
The new Mortal Kombat game will take 25 years after the last game, developed in 2011, and it will see Mileena take hold of a powerful talisman that grants her 'unimaginable power.'
The three new characters that were seen in the story trailer included Jacqueline Briggs, the daughter of Jax. The second character was Takashi Takeda, who is the son of Blind Kenshi.
Finally, the third character is Kung Jin, a character whom is the descendant of Kung Lao.
In total, 16 different characters have been confirmed for Mortal Kombat X. All 16 characters have been listed

Unfortunately, Sony has failed to release March's PlayStation Plus free games, and Sony has released a small statement explaining why this has happened.
According to Sony's Fred Dutton in a new PlayStation blog post, they have not managed to finalize the lineup in time for March, and it may be a little while before they are given the go ahead to release the free PS Plus titles.
"I appreciate you're all really keen to see the line-up and that it's frustrating having to hang on a bit longer than usual. Alas, we're still not quite ready to make the announcement."
"I can't give you a firm time at present as to when the post will go live, but we're working to get it to you as soon as possible. It may well be next week at this stage."
By the sounds of things, it is looking unlikely that we'll see the free games lineup in the few days of March, and we may even have to wait till the second week of March before the games are live. This is unfortunate, but Sony does need
