New Halo 4 Playlists

Frank O'Connor has taken a look back at the trials and tribulations of Halo 4 in 2012, and is both proud and excited for what's to come next.

"We made a lot of mistakes....There are a ton of things we wish we'd done better: Features that didn't make it into the final game. Glitches that emerged. Missteps made. DLC fiascos. Communication breakdowns, but there were things that went astonishingly well - the creation of a genuinely competitive AAA studio chief among them. A collection of talent and souls that can do something genuinely amazing on this and next-generation hardware."

Halo 4 has seen a successful year despite a few hiccups from the new developer, and fans will be excited to hear more about more content for Halo 4 this year. As well as the new Majestic map pack hitting Xbox Live on February 25th, the next few weeks of 2013 will include new playlist changes, more maps added to Spartan War Games, and more Spartan Ops missions.

Spartan Ops Episode 6 will start the new season of Spartan Ops, and will offer 15 new missions and three new CG cinematic scenes will be played out for three weeks starting on the 21st, accompanied by lots of changes in the community playlists, such as new game modes like Griffball and team doubles, as well as Forge-made community maps being added to the matchmaking playlists.

On top of this, six new specializations will be added to all players that have previously not been able to get hold of them, and will be released two per week over the next three weeks.
