Capcom has revealed this week that their next gen graphically impressive title, Deep Down will be available on the PlayStation 4 as a free to play game.

This information was revealed at this year's Tokyo Game Show and Shuhei Yoshida, Sony Worldwide Studios President, has announced on Twitter that an open beta for the game will be available close to the launch of the console in Japan, which is in February next year.

Yoshida didn't mention whether the beta would be exclusive to Japan, but it sounds as if it will be available worldwide. Deep Down is a next gen action game that produces randomly generated dungeons for players to fight through.

The game is based off of a medieval-like fantasy world where warriors called Ravens travel back to the dark days to fight their way to fortune.

Not much has been given about the game yet and Capcom have barely shown any gameplay content to the public as of this point so it's incredibly difficult to work out what kind of game it will be, although many are comparing it to other fighting/action games with dark, mysterious plot lines like Dark Souls.
