Gears 5 Controller Leaked

Details on the upcoming Gears 5 controller have been leaked, with a sexy new design showing a blue, white, and gray color scheme.

The custom Xbox Controller will launch alongside the Gears 5 game in September and will offer up a design unlike anything else that Microsoft has put out alongside their popular games in the past. The controller appears to be releasing alongside a matching stand, which sees a Gears logo that seems to flow between both devices.

The Gears 5 controller is an excellent way to draw in players to get new hardware, as the game itself is hotly anticipated. Microsoft has revealed that multiplayer servers for the game will be 60Hz for the first time, allowing for fast gameplay for those on all Xbox consoles and PCs. We’re geeked, as we loved the beta gameplay that we got to experience last month.

Of course, we’re going to continue offering custom Xbox controllers to our customers, which has a variety of enhancements, including re-mapping, hairpin triggers, sensitive buttons, and more.

Gears 5 will be releasing September 10th on box Xbox One and PC. Players using the Xbox One X and high-end gaming PCs will be able to play the game in full 4K 60FPS, while users of the S and OG consoles will still get high framerates, albeit at a lower resolution. The game will focus on Kait Diaz as well as JD Fenix and Delmont Walker, as they go up against the killer Locusts. The title serves as a direct sequel to Gears of War 4, which came out in 2016 and sold millions of copies.
