Isaiah Mustafa confirmed in GOW3 and (falsely) spoils the ending Epic's game.

So if you haven't heard from San Diego ComicCon news already, Isaiah Mustafa (aka the Old Spice Guy) is in Gears of War 3 as one of the many gears in Gears of War 3. He joins many celebrities like Ice T, John DiMaggio and Claudia Black. While he isn't given a unique role but instead of a role of a random COG Gear, it is likely they didn't hire him to be a Gears of War equivalent of a red shirt member of the USS Enterprise. In this ambassador's opinion, he's likely to stand out among the other cannonfodder Gears. And if Epic plays their cards right, he's likely to be part of an easter egg referring to Old Spice scented bodywash.

As if that wasn't enough Old Spice - Gears of War news, Old Spice just recently wrapped up their "Mano a Mano in the Bano" marketing campaign where Isaiah (as the Old Spice Guy) takes on Fabio in a series of video responses to tweets and replies. In one of the videos, Isaiah responds to a tweet from Epic Game's Cliffy B about his role in the game. He goes onto to give a (false) spoiler where he ends the war with the Locust Horde with the power of love.

However though. If anyone can stop the Locust Horde with love, it's the Old Spice Guy ....while rescuing a basket full of puppies and getting his Masters in Smooth Talking from Rutgers University.
