Infinity Ward Shows Off Call of Duty 2v2 Mode

During this past weekend Call of Duty: Modern Warfare developers Infinity Ward held their latest beta test, allowing users to test out the hotly anticipated 2v2 mode.

The new mode is one of the most anticipated features of the upcoming game, which launches on October 25th across PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The mode favors quick play, but does require players to adjust their strategy a bit from the typical multiplayer modes.

One thing that we’re anticipating is a lot of fast action, which I’ve personally experienced during my play sessions. Even though there are still a few things to be ironed out, the game looks sharp and plays smoothly on PS4. Gunfight (the name of the new mode), is something else, and I’d say I felt more pressure and “in the moment” than I even did in Black Ops 4’s battle royale mode.

Of course, we’re anticipating the different mods that we’ll be able to set up for use with our Evil Controllers. We may be a bit biased, but I think that we have the best Call of Duty Controllers, as we allow users to modify their sticks to their liking. Everything from shift paddles to analog stick tension is selectable, which will help give you the edge against the rivals you encounter online.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is among the most anticipated games coming out this fall, although it will be competing with the likes of Gears 5, which launches in September. Other big games coming out around the same time as COD include Borderlands 3, Doom Eternal, and The Outer Worlds. Needless to say, there’s no shortage of choice for players looking to blast the hell out of something this fall.
