Lost Planet 3 Pre-order Bonuses

It seems most games these days are released with various tiers of extra bonus content, and Lost Planet 3 is another game to follow. Recently Capcom has given info on the pre-order bonuses for Lost Planet 3, and there is quite a lot to choose from depending on what retailer you pre-order from.

Pre-ordering from GameStop will get you the Freedom Fighter Pack which includes five unique multiplayer characters and two rig upgrades. Pre-ordering from Best Buy will get you the Assault Pack which includes three unique weapons and two rig upgrades, and the Punisher Pack which can be gained by pre-ordering from Amazon, includes three unique weapons and two rig upgrades.

Although Lost Planet 3 was slated for an early 2013 release, the game will now be hitting shelves both online and offline on June 25th for US customers, and June 28th for European customers. The game will be released on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, and will follow the story of Jim Peyton, a Utility Rig pilot for Neo-Venus Construction, who encounters a group known as the Snow Pirates on planet E.D.N. Jim Peyton ends up forming bond with of the pirates.

Nothing all too original, but the story is there, and if developed properly, it could make for a very compelling gameplay experience.
