mortal kombat x - CopyMore details for the upcoming Mortal Kombat X have been revealed by Warner Bros. including a confirmed release date and some information on the benefits of pre-ordering the game today.

Firstly, Warner Bros. have revealed that Mortal Kombat X has been set for release on April 14, 2015, and the game will be readily available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and the PC at this date.

Secondly, Warner Bros. mentioned that players who pre-order Mortal Kombat X before it's release date will receive Goro, an additional character for the game. Goro is a four armed character who first appeared in the original Mortal Kombat as a non-playable boss.

So far, it's unclear whether Goro will be made available to those who do not pre-order at some point after the release of Mortal Kombat X, or whether Goro will remain as an exclusive for early adopters. Goro is a pretty important character in the Mortal Kombat series, so it would be a shame if he was left as an exclusive to those who pre-order. It would also seem unfair if Goro proved to be a better character than most other characters that those who did not pre-order would be able to choose from.

Either way, we're bound to hear more about the characters that will be present in Mortal Kombat X, the DLC planned, and further details on the pre-order bonus as we near the release date of the game, which will be in seven months time.
