NBA DLC Available to all

Many players took the initiative before 2K13 was released and pre-ordered the game to receive the All Star Add On Presented By Sprite DLC for free. However, it seems that 2K Sports are now starting to offer this pre-order download content to each and every player for the price of a regular Downloadable Content title pack.

The All Star Add On Presented By Sprite DLC has now been released to all players on both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 for 400 Microsoft Points or $5 on the PlayStation Network. Obviously for those that didn't manage to pre-order, you now have the chance to grab yourself the pack at a cost.

The All Star Add On DLC adds four unique events; the Foot Locker three-point shootout, BBVA Rising Stars Challenge game, Sprite slam dunk contest and the East vs West All-Star game.

The three point shootout and slam dunk contest events are also compatible with your MyPlayer character if you have decent enough stats.

Do you think it's fair for 2K to expect you to pay extra for content previously available for free? What should 2K be offering instead?
