New Fallout 76 Details Unveiled Ahead Of Beta

Are you looking forward to Fallout 76? If you are, you’ll want to take a read through this article.

Bethesda has just pushed out a bunch of new details about Fallout 76 ahead of the upcoming beta period. We’ll be sharing all of the new information in this article.

Firstly, it’s been confirmed that the beta will start on October 23 for Xbox One players and October 30 for PC and PS4 players. The beta will be live most days for roughly 4-8 hours each day.

What’s incredible is that the beta will run all the way up to a few days before the release date, which is on November 14. You must pre-order to get into the beta, but your progress made in the beta will carry on over to the full release.

We also now know that the player count will be between 12 and 36, but the final number still hasn’t been revealed.

There will be quests and objectives just like in Fallout 4, as well as dozens of different enemy NPCs to kill. There won’t be any human NPCs to interact with, though.

PVP will be turned on, so you can fight any player you come across. There won’t be any major punishments for dying, though. On top of this, gear is normalized across levels, so you’ll have the same chance to kill a level 70 as you will a level 1.

Finally, Fallout 76 will have a microtransaction currency called Atoms. You can earn Atoms in game or spend real money on them. Atoms will let you purchase different cosmetic items.
