New Tetris Mobile Game Launches

A new Tetris mobile game is coming to iOS and Android devices, bringing the world’s most popular video game of all-time to players on the go.

The game is launching in a basic mode, letting players get in on one mode and five different skins. The game is playable with swipe controls and haptic feedback and will be expanded more in the future. The game is developed by N3twork, and they say that an online leaderboard for the game will also be launched in the near future.

Speaking about the game N3twork’s CEO Neil Young noted: “We’re launching Tetris with a traditional solo gameplay mode, but we want fans to know that we’ve got so much more in store for them. This is just the foundation of an incredible Tetris app experience we’re building at N3twork.”

The launch comes after EA’s Tetris Blitz and Tetris 2011 mobile games were pulled from the mobile app stores from Apple and Google. EA says that the games are being retired, but can be played if you have them on your phone until April 21st.
