No Man's Sky Getting an Update - Worth Revisiting?

Surprise, surprise - No Man's Sky is getting a big update and it may even make the game worth a revisit.

When No Man's Sky first launched, it was eaten into by the gaming community because of the developer behind the game, Hello Games, vastly under delivered. They broke many promises about the content of the game.

For example, Hello Games mentioned that No Man's Sky would have multiplayer, and the game would have a universe where players could leave their mark. Both of these features were quickly debunked as soon as No Man's Sky launched.

In the new update, No Man's Sky will be getting some kind of story that serves to piece together the game's existing content and provide players with more of a reason to explore.

The new update is called Atlas Rises, and it is available to all No Man's Sky players for free. The patch notes for Atlas Rises haven't yet been revealed, but the most notable features include a brand new story and a quick travel feature that will allow players to travel between worlds quickly.

When the patch notes are released for Atlas Rises, we'll share more on this brand new update. Do you think a brand new story could be enough to get players to return to No Man's Sky?
