Xbox One Mini ControllerMicrosoft have just announced a brand new controller for their Xbox One - it has been branded the Xbox One Mini controller, and as the name suggests, it's a lot smaller than the traditional Xbox One game pad.

The Xbox One Mini controllers looks like a thinner, shiner version of the Xbox 360 controller, and it will in black, green and a black green combo color. Whilst the price of the new controller has not yet been revealed, the release date has been set for October 17th.

The controller has been built by Power A, in co-operation with Microsoft, as an officially licensed Xbox One controller, however, in our eyes, it just doesn't look nice enough to warrant a purchase.

It's likely the new Power A officially licensed controller will be slightly cheaper to offer Xbox One players an opportunity to grab more pads on a budget, but when it comes to controllers, we feel it's important to go big or go home.

The new Power A controller will be wired, and no wireless option will be available, and there's no way of knowing just how well the pad will hold up - the images certainly make the controller look a lot shoddier than the official Xbox pad.

If you're looking for something more impressive than the standard controller and don't trust the quality of the new Power A pad, you should check out our great custom controller creator and create a new Xbox One controller that looks badass and will withstand many heavy gaming sessions.
