EA to Provide Additional Content for BF3 to Sony Before Microsoft.

So if you haven't heard the news, Sony seems to be the favored choice of console when it comes to EA's upcoming FPS title "Battlefield 3". While the Xbox 360 will be getting the same type of content, there are some things that make the title sway to be more friendly towards the Playstation 3.

Seen here on Playstation's official US blog, the company has announced that expansions forBattlefield3 will be released for Playstation 3 owners one week earlier before Xbox gets their own copy.

The expansion called "Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand" will bereleased later this. It will be a theme expansion pack that will contain maps from Battlefield 2 that will be taking full advantage of DICE's Frostbite 2 engine. In addition, the package will include new equipment, vehicles, dog tags, and achievements (or trophies in Sony's case).

In the past years, when people think of the Modern Warfare games, it's always associated them with the Xbox 360 despite the fact that Modern Warfare has titles on the PS3. Now it is Sony's turn and they are using Battlefield in the same manner.
