Shinji Mikami Brings Bethesda into Survival Horror Gaming

According to news from Joystiq, it seems that a mysterious but interesting project called "Project Zwei" is a project involving Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami and his Bethesda Softworks-supported group Tango Gameworks. This codename for this project was revealed to Famitsu (Japan's leading source of video game news) where Mikami stated that the game will be a survival horror game, drawing elements from the Resident Evil series.

In addition, the interview revealed that the game is still rather early in development. He said that the game won't be out this year but sometime within a full year at least. Most of the content for the game will be done by Maryland-based publisher Bethesda Softworks, creators of such games like Oblivion and the Fallout series. There is only little bits of revealed content about the project but that the game is intended for HD consoles and that the "zwei" (two in German) has nothing to do with the game's content.
