ps4 tlou bundleDespite The Last of Us Remastered being a port of a PlayStation 3 title, it seems Sony really want to push for as many sales as possible for the upcoming HD PlayStation exclusive, and their next move to suggest this comes in the form of a brand new PlayStation 4 bundle.

The new PlayStation 4 bundle comes with a console, a DualShock 4 controller, and a copy of The Last of Us Remastered. The bundle was first leaked on Amazon a few days ago, but it has since been made official by Sony.

The brand new bundle has been set for a $429.99 price tag, which should be in-line with other similar PlayStation 4 bundles currently available. So far no details have been given on a North American or UK price tag or release, but it's likely this bundle will be made available in most regions.

The new bundle can already be pre-ordered now. The release date for the bundle is quite unclear, although some retailers have suggested an August 1st, 2014 date, which would make sense considering the Last of Us Remastered will be released on July 29th.

So far, The Last of Us has proven to be an incredible game, but many gamers have been quite disappointed at the huge price tag of the remastered version and lack of upgrade discount, which seems to have been neglected, despite Naughty Dog previously discussing the possibility of such a thing. Will you be getting The Last of Us Remastered or do you see it as an unnecessary purchase?
