If you're hoping to play Playerunknown's Battlegrounds on your PS4, we have some good and bad news for you today.
First things first, it's been confirmed that Battlegrounds developer Bluehole has set up an exclusivity deal with Microsoft. Bluehole is also interested in bringing Battlegrounds to the PS4 after this exclusivity period runs out.
Bluehole is apparently in talks with Sony to make this happen. So far, this is the good news that has come out of a recent report that shares some insider details on the Xbox exclusivity deal.
The bad news is that Bluehole and Microsoft have been in further talks to essentially lengthen the exclusivity deal for PUBG. This would mean that Battlegrounds would stay exclusive to the Xbox One and the PC for longer than previously planned.
According to a report by Bloomberg, anonymous individuals, who have chosen to keep their identity private, were present during talks between Microsoft and Bluehole. There was a discussion in

A new demo has been released for the upcoming PS4 exclusive, Knack 2. The new demo is currently only available in Europe and Australia. If you're in either of these regions you can jump in and download the demo for free right now.
So far, the demo weighs in at just 2.6GB. If you download it from the store today, you'll have roughly one week to play before Knack 2 is launched worldwide. Unfortunately, there's no evidence that the Knack 2 demo will come to any other regions, including North America.
Knack 2 was originally revealed via a leak quite some time ago, but it wasn't until Sony's PSX event last year that the game was officially revealed by Sony. Now, Knack 2 is set to launch on September 5 in North America. Knack 2 will also launch in Europe and Australia a day later, on September 6.
The original Knack didn't get as much critical appeal as the developers had originally hoped. However, game designer Mark Cerny feels like the sequel touches on a lot of the areas

The Crash N.Sane trilogy has received some pretty spectacular first week sales, and it presents some potential for a brand new future of Crash Bandicoot games.
As well as breaking some first week sales records this year, the Crash N.Sane trilogy has quickly jumped to the top of the sales charts and it's looking to be the hottest drop this year, despite the PS4 exclusivity.
In the UK, more people bought Crash Bandicoot in the first week than people purchase Horizon Zero Dawn, making it the biggest selling first week title in the UK so far this year.
In other news, it's been reported that the Crash N.Sane trilogy may be making its way to the Xbox One. While the Crash Bandicoot remaster was first launched as a PS4 exclusive title, the huge reception the game has received has pushed Naughty Dog to consider publishing it on the Xbox One.
Recently, XboxAchievements reported that the Crash N.Sane trilogy will be getting an Xbox One release on December 8 this year.

Like previous years, Capcom has teamed up with Sony to provide the Capcom Cup Finals alongside the PlayStation Experience event. This year, the location has changed once again and players will find themselves travelling to Anaheim, CA to take part in the Capcom Cup.
The PlayStation Experience will be held on December 3rd and 4th at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. The Capcom Cup finals will be held on December 3rd at 6PM PST.
During the Capcom Cup finals, the event should be streamed live on Twitch and the finalists will have their chance to play for the biggest part of a large $250,000+ prize pool. The initial prize pool is being increased by crowdfunding from one of Capcom’s Street Fighter V DLC packs. So far, we're looking at a total of $400,000 for the entire event.
Some of the DLC money is also going on production so hopefully we'll have a great show on our hands once the event comes rolling by on December 3rd.
The top 32 players will

As you may know already, Sony is slowly gearing up to release the PS4 Slim as a new alternative to their current game console. As the name of the console suggests, the PS4 Slim will be a smaller, more lightweight version of the original PlayStation 4. This is a move that Sony has made plenty of times in the past with all of their consoles. In fact, Sony even released a PlayStation One slim, and have been doing so with their main game consoles ever since.
Because of this, it's no surprise that a PlayStation 4 Slim is on it's way. However, the surprising part is that a newly reworked DualShock 4 controller may be released alongside the PS4 Slim.
According to rumors, the new controller will have a change to the lightbar. The lightbar is used to signify each player for split-screen games. Each player is given a different color. Players can also change their own color for their profile so that players know that they are signed into their own account when playing on their own.

Sony is listing a new deal every day leading up to Christmas day as part of the "12 Deals of Christmas" holiday promotion. The holiday promotion started on November 30, alongside a "Games Under 15 Euro for Christmas" promotion for PS3 and PS Vita titles.
The 12 games for Christmas deals only last 48 hours after their announcement so you'll have to be quick to snatch up the best deals. On November 30, the promotion started with a discount to Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, which was listed on the PlayStation Store for 34.99 instead of 69.99, essentially taking 50% off of it's digital price. The same 50% discount was available for the PS3 version too.
A number of great deals have been posted over the last couple of weeks but we're now onto deal 7 of the 12 days of Christmas and it lists Assassin's' Creed Syndicate (The new one!) at a discount. The base price of Syndicate is 69.99 but it can now be picked up for 49.99 for two days. The season pass has also had a discount

Recently, the eSports industry has grown at a huge rate. We're seeing new companies get involved in eSports from all over the world. This week, Sony announced a brand new eSports platform for PlayStation Plus users that will offer everyday players the chance to earn real money by playing the games they love.
The new eSports platform for PlayStation Plus users is called LEAGUE, and it will be hosted on a seasonal basis. Each season, different rewards will be available for players across some of the main PlayStation 4 games.
As it currently stands, there are championships underway for Battlefield Hardline, Ultra Street Fighter IV and FIFA 16. As things are only just getting underway, the reward system is little confusing, but it looks as if there will be a small monthly prize pool for each game - each first place prize will consist of around 150 euros. Other rewards all add up to the cumulative rewards pool of 20,000 euros.
To begin with it looks like all championships

It's been suggested a thousand times but it seems like Sony are finally ready to bite the bullet and admit that both Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls will be coming to the PlayStation 4.
Both titles have been developed by Quantic Dreams and they offer a more story-driven approach to gameplay than most other games would deliver. Whilst Beyond: Two Souls did receive some mixed reviews, there was no doubt that both Beyond and Heavy Rain were quite interesting ideas that refined the boundaries of what a video game is.
Whilst it would be expected to see a "remastered bundle" for both Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls, both games will be available separately as digital downloads, whilst a bundle version, including both titles, will be available both in a physical and digital format.
So far neither a price tag nor a release date has been announced but it's likely both will be released at the same time. It wouldn't be too unrealistic to believe that Heavy Rain will be released

It's always great to see developers pushing out free content on top of the paid-for DLC that seems to come with every AAA game these days. Fortunately, Project Cars developer Slightly Mad is planning to release some free content each month to say thanks to any loyal long term players.
Even though Project Cars been delayed numerous times, the game is finally nearing release, and once it does launch, players will be able to pick up some free cars each month. There will also be some free content available at the launch of Project Cars as compensation for the extended delays.
The first free car will be released in May and it will be the Lykan Hypersport, a vehicle that has actually been featured in Furious 7. Details for other free cars have not yet been revealed, but we'll probably hear more from Slightly Mad once Project Cars has released.
Below, the statement from Slightly Mad regarding the free content can be read.
"We are immensely pleased to have this awesome

Ever been frustrated by a player quitting on you in an online match on Tekken, Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter? I know I have, and it seems quite common for players to disconnect just before you pull in a victory.
Fortunately, NetherRealm have implemented a new finishing move to Mortal Kombat X that should put disconnectors and rage quitters to shame. In Mortal Kombat X, any plays that purposely disconnect from a game will have their heads implode (in-game of course.) and the opposing player's character will stand there, with a slight smirk on his face.
The whole procedure has been called a Quitality, and it will happen every time a player quits in the middle of a fight. The win will go straight to the player who remained in the game, whilst the disconnected player will be given a loss.
Whilst it's not clear, I'm expecting that the Quitality will happen even if a player's internet goes down, or they get disconnected for a reason out of their control. There's no details
