The whole DLC debacle definitely leaves a lot of room for debate, but if you're patient with buying games you can often get great deals on DLC. In fact, most publishers are now releasing "complete editions" roughly a year after the game release - these versions often cost the same price as the original game but they're also packed with all of the game's DLC.
Ubisoft has been following this practice for a while, and their next compilation game set for release is Far Cry 4: Complete Edition.
As expected, Far Cry 4 Complete Edition will come with the full game and all five of the DLC expansions that were released as part of the game's season pass. The new complete edition will also have all of the extra missions, weapons and areas that may have been awarded to players in the past.
Far Cry 4 Complete Edition is set for release on June 19. So far we don't know whether we'll see a physical release or not. It's entirely possible that the Complete Edition may only be available

Bandai Namco has finally announced that Yoshimitsu will be returning to the franchise in Tekken 7. With Yoshimitsu being one of my favorite fighting characters of all time, I was pretty excited to hear the news, but Bandai Namco has done something a little... strange with him.
If you look back to previous Tekken games, you'll notice that Yoshimitsu never really has one appearance style. He'll always have drastically different costumes in each game. For those who don't keep an eye on the series it's easy to lose track of what Yoshimitsu actually looks like.
The latest rendition of Yoshimitsu for Tekken 7 is beyond a shadow of a doubt the weirdest we've ever seen him before. Yoshimitsu now has a number of tentacles branching off of his face.
Yes, that's right. We've been tricked. Yoshimitsu has been a space squid on legs all this time. Whilst you may not personally like the new Yoshimitsu looks it's important to note that there are bound to be plenty of costume options

Battlefield 4 has already had a season pass but DICE aren't quite done with developing content for the game just yet. However, instead of charging players extra on top of all the other additional DLC costs already tied onto Battlefield 4, DICE has made the noble choice to release all of the future DLC content for free.
Whilst previous DLC will still cost players the same it does today, any new content created by DICE and released for Battlefield 4 from this day forwards will be absolutely free to all players.
So far there are a lot of details that haven't been shared by DICE, but we do know that they are working on some new maps, including night time maps. The night maps should be variants of previously released maps. So far we already know that Siege of Shanghai, Zavod 311, and Golmud Railway will be receiving nighttime variants. A new community-made map is also in the works and should be released for free in the not too distant future.
A new patch is planned for this

No space battles. Star Wars Battlefront with no space battles. I found myself saying this over and over when I first heard it, but as the idea sank in, I've become more accepting of the idea. I'm not entirely convinced Battlefront by DICE will be a great game, but I'm ready to see what they make of it.
According to DICE, there were some interesting design choices made that decided the fate of space battles in Battlefront. DICE's Patrick Bach revealed the following statement in an interview with Official PlayStation Magazine UK.
"We want players to stay in the same environment - we don't want players to fly off and do something over *here.* It's about the Battlefront experience, so we want to keep you in-atmosphere and fighting with the infantry."
The one part about this sentence that doesn't seem to make sense to me is "It's about the Battlefront experience." DICE seem to be doing a lot to the franchise to take it away from the original Battlefront experience, and by

Unsurprisingly, Ubisoft is gearing up to announce a brand new Assassin's Creed title. Last week, invitations for a world premiere revealing for the next Assassin's Creed title were sent out to the press. The new Assassin's Creed game will be revealed on Tuesday.
Previous rumors suggested that the new Assassin's Creed game was going to be called Victory. This seemed like a fitting name at the time - the next game in the franchise is expected to be set in Victorian London. However, new rumors are suggesting that the new Assassin's Creed title will instead be called Syndicate.
We're not sure why Ubisoft would choose this name over Victory but we're bound to find out more at the world premiere revealing. If you think back to the last Assassin's Creed game, Unity, the name Syndicate seems more fitting, even though it may not have any real correlation with the actual game content or story.
Unity was released last year and it was met with a lot of distaste from critics and

A successor to the ever popular Banjo Kazooie franchise hit Kickstarter and it blew up the internet.
We've all been wanting a new (decent) Banjo Kazooie game for years but it seems that Rare either has no interest or they've been too busy on other projects such as Kinect Sports Rivals. Thankfully a team of ex-Rare employees has banded together to make a development company called Playtonic Games and they are set to bring life to Banjo Kazooie again.
Playtonic Games recently posted up a Kickstarter page for their upcoming game. Named Yooka-Laylee, the game will feature the same 3D buddy-duo platformer experience that made Banjo Kazooie so popular. Yooka-Laylee will be filled with all sorts of collectibles for players to find in the world. This time round, collectibles will play a meaningful part in the way new areas of the world are opened up.
The audio and art team working on Playtonic Games are also going for a very Banjo Kazooie-esque theme and the main environment

Everybody's interest for Rare died out a little bit when they were hired to make Kinect games for the Xbox 360, but as soon as they're given a bit more creative freedom again I'm sure the world will be looking their way.
Let's hope that's the case with this year's E3 expo, because according to Rare's studio creative director, Simon Woodroffe, "E3 will tell the world what Gregg Mayles new project is about."
As you can imagine, Simon couldn't go too far into details about the upcoming game and he made sure he didn't give too much away. Simon did however Tweet the following:
"All I can give here is a quote from the man himself, 'This is more fun than anything we've ever done.'"
Both Simon Woodroffe and Gregg Mayles have been responsible for putting their hearts into games like Donkey Kong Country and Viva Pinata and those were definitely some very fun games. If Rare is suggesting that their next game is going to be more fun than anything they've ever done, then

Wolfenstein The Old Blood is finally set to release next week, and to anticipate for the launch of The New Order sequel, preloading has now been opened up for the game. The Old Blood will be releasing on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on May 5, so if you do purchase the digital version you should be able to switch on your console and start downloading today.
If you still haven't purchased the game but want the best deal, you should consider picking up The Old Blood for the PlayStation 4 as it is currently on sale for $18. Both the Xbox One and PC versions of The Old Blood are available online for $20.
Unfortunately, The Old Blood isn't going to sit quietly on your system. The Xbox One version of The Old Blood will weigh in at a huge 37.14 GB, whilst the Steam version will need at least 38GB of free space on your hard drive for it to install. The PS4 pre order page oddly lists The Old Blood as requiring just 10.2MB in space, but this seems more like a mistake than an accurate

I'm actually quite excited about the singleplayer for Call of Duty Black Ops 3, but what's equally as exciting is the new changes being made to the multiplayer.
The multiplayer is of course where the majority of players will be spending most of their time, so if you are like me you are probably wondering about the different maps that will be available at launch.
Fortunately, a few details on the maps in Black Ops 3 have already been shared, along with some other multiplayer information. We only have details about three different maps so far, but that's more than enough to keep us patiently waiting a little bit longer for more information.
The known map details are provided below.
Hunted: A Mid to long range engagement map with a waterfall in the middle allowing for swimming mechanics
Combine: A tight, close quarters map allowing for SMG's and shotguns to dominate with a risky wall running spot.
Stronghold: A snowy/icy based map in the foothills

Halo has always been a big Xbox seller, so it's not really surprising that Microsoft and 343 Industries are planning to release a limited edition Halo 5 themed Xbox One console that will come with a copy of the upcoming game.
So far we have very few details about the limited edition Halo 5 console, although we know that it is definitely coming. The news was revealed on Twitter by Josh Holmes, the studio head for Halo 5: Guardians.
Details about the limited edition console are bound to come at some point closer to the release of Halo 5. We'll be able to find out about how much the Halo 5 themed console will cost and also what it will look like. It makes sense that the console will be available on the same day Halo 5: Guardians is, which is October 27. Pre-orders for the console should hopefully open a little earlier than October 27.
Two other limited edition versions of Halo 5: Guardians have already been confirmed, with details about those being more beefy. The first
