Dark Souls has managed to make a pretty big name for itself recently, and I think the developers behind it, From Software, have done an incredible job to offer a really unique RPG experience. I've yet to complete the game, but I've enjoyed the game a lot since I first got my hands on it.
I'm sure this is the case for many players, so I can imagine it's sparked a lot of curiosity between those that haven't yet played it. If you sold your PS3 or Xbox 360 to get a brand new console from either Microsoft or Sony, than you probably know what I'm talking about here.
Luckily though, it could be very possible that a Dark Souls 2 port for both the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One could happen. When asked about a possible cross-gen port by Edge, From Software director Yui Tanimura replied with, "We have not put any thought into this yet, So I unfortunately can't answer at this point."
Whilst this means that From Software haven't already started a PS4 and Xbox One port, it also

The next game in the Call of Duty franchise is Advanced Warfare, a futuristic shooter in the hands of Sledgehammer games, a developer who, whilst not unfamiliar with the series, is certainly having their first shot at creating a solo Call of Duty experience.
Advanced Warfare seems to offer a decent amount of content to make it feel fresh to COD players, but it's still going to feel like Call of Duty, which I think is what makes the franchise so popular in the first place.
However, Advanced Warfare is only the beginning; EA still plan to churn out a new Call of Duty game every year for the foreseeable future, so what do the other Call of Duty developers have planned?
Earlier this week, we mentioned a rumor suggesting World at War 2 may be the Call of Duty title for 2015, and that got me thinking.
If Sledgehammer are in charge of Advanced Warfare, and Treyarch are reportedly working on a new world war two game, it would make sense that Infinity Ward are straight

2K Games has finally announced the release date for the next Civilization game. Civilization: Beyond Earth will be available for players to purchase on October 24th this year.
Beyond Earth will take the core gameplay of Civilization 5 and breathe new air into it by offering new experiences, and most importantly, the ability to send your civilization to space, which is a first for the franchise.
So far, Civilization: Beyond Earth has been set for an exclusive PC launch, and details for a console release have not yet been given. However, if you're still interested, you'll be able to purchase Beyond Earth for $50.
If you decide to pre-order Civilization: Beyond Earth, you'll also receive a fairly decent pre-order bonus in the name of a new map pack. The map pack has been named the Exoplanet pack and it comes with six different maps.
So far it is unclear whether the Exoplanet map pack will be exclusive for early adopters, or whether it will be made available after

A new patch for has just rolled out for Killzone Shadowfall on consoles this week, and it includes a bunch of changes to Guerrilla Game's PlayStation 4 exclusive title. The new 1.30 patch for Killzone Shadowfall adds a range of bug fixes and gameplay tweaks, as well as adding support for the new upcoming multiplayer maps.
One bug fix in patch 1.30 which I think a lot of players will be relieved to hear about is the spawn camera issue. This problem forced players to spawn in the opposite direction to the way the spawn camera was facing.
Guerrilla Games have also made it easier for players to understand what weapons players are able to unlock in Killzone Shadowfall patch 1.30, and players will also see much smoother game flow at the end of a round.
Killzone Shadowfall has failed to receive as large of a player base as games like Call of Duty or Halo, but despite this Guerrilla Games are putting in a lot of effort to provide players with an optimum online experience, new

Despite us being a third of the way through July already, EA have still not officially given us the details on the release date for Battlefield 4's next DLC pack, Dragon's Teeth.
However, a slip up on the EA Origin twitter account revealed what may be the planned date for the Battlefield 4 Dragon's Teeth DLC. The tweet read, "Save 20% on #BF4 Premium right now, then jump into #DragonsTeeth on July 15th."
The tweet that mentioned the July 15th date for Dragon's Teeth was removed quickly, and soon replaced with the same message, with "Save 20% on #BF4 Premium right now, then jump into #DragonsTeeth 2 weeks early."
We can gather three things from this information; firstly, someone working the Origin twitter account made a slip-up and is probably getting shouted at for it, secondly Battlefield Premium owners will be getting Dragon's Teeth on July 15th, and regular users will be able to purchase the Dragon's Teeth DLC two weeks later, which will be July 29th.
If you

Back when the PlayStation 3 was first released, many believed that Sony were never going to catch up to the amount of units the Xbox 360 was selling. However, with the help of a new slimline variant of the PS3 with larger storage space and a cheaper price point, Sony managed to claw it's way to a position that put it neck and neck with Microsoft's Xbox 360.
This time round, Sony have gained the clear sales advantage over Microsoft and the Xbox One, but just like before, anything could happen to give the losing console the chance to wing it into first place.
If the Xbox One manages to get a price drop and a selection of strong console exclusives, sales for the console could easily start to catch up with that of the PlayStation 4, and if that happens, Sony are reportedly prepared to drop out a new PlayStation 4 slim variant, which like the PS3 slim, will most likely come with a slim line frame, a cheaper price point and a larger hard drive.
It's likely a 'slim' version

A little while back Cliff Bleszinski announced plans to retire from video game development for good, but it seems he just couldn't keep away from the video game industry as he's already back at it with plans to make more video games again.
Despite his supposed video game retirement, it's been clear for a while that Cliffy B has been working on some kind of video game project, and it looks like he plans to reveal it to the world pretty soon.
On Bleszinski's twitter, he wrote, "I'm officially coming out of retirement to make video games again. Stay tuned here for details in the next 7 days!"
Whilst his previous work has been alongside AAA studios responsible for franchises like Gears of War and Unreal Tournament, it sounds likely that Cliffy B's next project will be something completely different.
Cliff Bleszinski has already revealed a few different concept art images for a game that he has codenamed Silverstreak, so perhaps we'll hear more about this title within

A lot of information has hit the world recently regarding Crytek's current financial struggles, and whilst it's clear that they're in the rough right now, details surrounding their fate in the future are very cloudy.
It could be possible that a company or a group of companies decide to buy out Crytek's assets, in a similar fashion to the THQ buyout in 2012. However, it would be unexpected for a company like Sony to come along and outright buy Crytek and all of it's worth.
Surprisingly though, a well-renowned insider by the name of Tidux has suggested that Sony may actually be considering purchasing Crytek in the near future.
Tidux made it very clear that what he's heard is just a rumor, but Sony are reportedly looking in to buying Crytek at this point, and assessing whether making such a move would bring in profit for them.
Personally, I believe it's very possible that Sony are considering to buy Crytek, but I would be surprised if they actually followed through

Despite The Last of Us Remastered being a port of a PlayStation 3 title, it seems Sony really want to push for as many sales as possible for the upcoming HD PlayStation exclusive, and their next move to suggest this comes in the form of a brand new PlayStation 4 bundle.
The new PlayStation 4 bundle comes with a console, a DualShock 4 controller, and a copy of The Last of Us Remastered. The bundle was first leaked on Amazon a few days ago, but it has since been made official by Sony.
The brand new bundle has been set for a $429.99 price tag, which should be in-line with other similar PlayStation 4 bundles currently available. So far no details have been given on a North American or UK price tag or release, but it's likely this bundle will be made available in most regions.
The new bundle can already be pre-ordered now. The release date for the bundle is quite unclear, although some retailers have suggested an August 1st, 2014 date, which would make sense considering

Right now, everyone who may be slightly interested in Call of Duty will be keeping their main attention on Advanced Warfare, however it's pretty likely that both Infinity Ward and Treyarch are working behind the scenes to create the next upcoming Call of Duty titles, after Advanced Warfare.
Advanced Warfare looks to change up quite a lot in the Call of Duty franchise, but for those that aren't too happy about the changes, and would rather take it old school, you may be interested in the following information.
Apparently, Amazon slipped up and momentarily leaked a brand new cover image for Call of Duty World at War 2. Whilst this information can't be verified, it's certainly clear that Treyarch will be returning in 2015 with a new Call of Duty game, and it could be very possible that World at War 2 will be the next game in the series, after Advanced Warfare.
If this is the case, the 2015 Call of Duty game will be the first title to go back to the past, instead of focusing
