If you're not getting excited for NBA 2K18 yet, the new Prelude demo might get you interested.
The Prelude demo is available for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners and will give players a chance to try out NBA 2K18 for free in anticipation of the game's impending release.
With Prelude, players get to dip their feet in the new MyCareer mode. Players will also be given the opportunity to test out the Neighborhoods mode.
In Neighborhoods, players are given access to an online social space where they can interact with other players, challenge others to games, and play various activities, some of which can improve their player's stats.
Interestingly, the developers are letting players keep hold of the progress they make during the Prelude demo. If you improve your character's stats, change your character's appearance, or make any other progress, it'll stay with your account when you purchase and play the full game.
NBA 2K18 is set to launch on Xbox One,

A brand new patch for LawBreakers has recently gone live on both the PS4 and the PC version of the game. For the most part, the patch has gone ahead smoothly, although there has been a temporary issue with weapon stickers that the developers are currently working to get solved.
In the new patch, a nighttime version of the Promenade map has been added. Role limits have now been set to 2, and Kick decals can now be sprayed by players across the game environment.
A number of balancing changes have been made to different game modes, too. For example, the Blitzball mode has been made more challenging. The Blitzball shield radius has been increased from 850 to 1000.
The Overcharge mode has had similar changes - the radius for reducing the Battery's shield has increased from 750 to 850, and the contest radius for the Battery has increased to 1000. The contest area has also changed to a sphere as opposed to a cylinder, which should make it easier for players to hold the spot

This year, the NBA 2K18 multiplayer mode is getting a huge overhaul. In NBA 2K18, a new social space called Neighborhoods is being added.
In the new Neighborhoods mode, players will be able to customize their own player, interact with others, and take part in a variety of different activities, some of which are related to basketball, while some aren't.
The Neighborhood mode will take place in a separate map that'll feature a set of American city blocks. Basketball courts, shops for customizing your character, and other recreational areas will be included.
The new Neighborhood mode will essentially work as a lobby for players to hang out in while waiting for games in either of the MyPark, Pro-Am, and MyCareer modes.
Players will also be able to take part in different activities to improve their player's skills to help them be better players on the basketball court. Players will share the Neighborhood with other players that are online.
At any time, a player

While content updates for Halo 5 stopped some time ago, new balancing changes will be making their way to Halo 5 soon.
The new balancing changes will bring a huge overhaul to the different weapons players can use in Halo 5. Many players are speculating that the balance changes are a method for 343 Industries to test the waters with changes that they may bring to Halo 6 when it finally launches.
After 2 years of data to go through, those at 343 Industries that are still working on Halo 5 have decided on a new plan of action for the weapon mechanics in Halo 5: Guardians.
The 343 team warned that not everybody will like the changes, but they think the balancing is for the best.
"With a game and community as varied and nuanced as Halo 5, it's just not going to be possible to make everyone totally happy all of the time. Some folks may not like certain changes, while others may think some of these changes are great."
A total of twelve weapons will be getting

For those that forget or were unaware, Microsoft is still working on bringing mouse and keyboard support to the Xbox One. In fact, they're so close that they're almost ready to announce the first title to support mouse and keyboard support.
Director for Xbox, Mike Ybarra, recently spoke at a PAX West panel and answered some questions about the progress of keyboard and mouse support for the Xbox One.
They mentioned that the feature is still coming, but they need to be careful about how they implement it. They made it clear that they understand players are concerned about the unfairness of going up against somebody with a keyboard and mouse, so they'll make it a mission to ensure developers have guidelines in place.
With these guidelines, it will be down to the developer to decide whether they add keyboard and mouse support for their games. Developers are also encouraged to give those with a controller the option to only play with other people with a controller. It'll

The latest Smuggler's Run update for GTA Online has now been out for just over a week. While the bulk of it, including a new adversary mode, and a number of new jets and planes have already been released, Rockstar has slowly trickled out more content over the past 10 days.
This week, the new Motor Wars adversary mode will now offer players double RP and double cash. The game mode is a play on the popular battle royale mode seen in games like Playerunknown's Battlegrounds.
In Motor Wars, players will drop from the sky and must find a weaponized vehicle spawn as quickly as possible. It's essentially battle royale but with vehicles.
A new T-shirt, the white Shrewsbury logo tee has also been given to players for free, and players can currently get 25% off all vehicle armor. This includes armor for the new air vehicles.
Both the Pegassi Reaper and the Progen Itali GTB are also 25% off for a limited time.
A new plane has also been added as part of an expansion

The new Rainbow Six Siege Operation Blood Orchid expansion is finally out for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
After a long wait, the latest expansion, which adds three new operators, a new map, and a large number of gameplay fixes and balancing changes, has gone live.
Ubisoft released a new trailer for the operation. During the trailer, the new map is showcased, alongside the three new operators.
As mentioned previously, the new map for Operation Blood Orchid is Theme Park. It's a spooky-themed nighttime map that's based on an abandoned theme park. The trailer also shows off Ying and Lesion, the two new operators from Hong Kong. The trailer ends by giving a sneak peek at the third operator, Ela.
Ela is a Polish operator that was originally planned for a now-axed Polish themed operation.
While the trailer does show the three new operators in action, it doesn't do much to showcase their new abilities. We've provided a quick overview of the new operators

While Destiny 2 still isn't out yet, we have some new information about the game thanks to a recent leak. The new leak reveals all of the exotic weapons and armor that'll come to Destiny 2 on launch day.
The leak was carried out by Reddit users NFSgaming, supadhalster, and SleeperWho.
The leak also contains plenty of information about the game content, the tower, the final campaign mission, the strikes, and some information about the story missions.
The leak also shares detailed information about the new subclasses and the different abilities that they'll have in Destiny 2. The most exciting information, however, is without a doubt the exotics information.
Unfortunately, the leaked images have since been removed, but we can confirm that Destiny 2 will have more new exotics that it originally had in the first Destiny. Players will also be able to get access to some of the exotic weapons and armor pieces originally released in Destiny 1.
Interestingly, the

If you haven't played Playerunknown's Battlegrounds yet, chances are you've at least heard of it. The game has quickly become the most played Steam title on PC. Recently, Battlegrounds managed to overtake Dota 2, the reigning Steam champ.
Battlegrounds hit a peak of 877,000 players earlier this month. With these stats, it narrowly outperformed Dota 2 for both peak player and concurrent player numbers.
Since the inception of Dota 2 on Steam, not a single game has managed to consistently stay as high in the charts as Battlegrounds has. Over the last few years, very few gameplay titles have managed to get past Dota 2, either. This is partially due to the fact that Dota 2 is a free-to-play MOBA title, just like League of Legends. It's also due to the fact that Steam's company, Valve, has developed the game.
The closest game to compete with Dota 2 is Valve's other game Counter Strike: Global Offensive. A game currently retailing for around $10.
The recent stats are

Human Head, the same development team as Prey and Prey 2, is now working on a brand new open world RPG game called Rune: Ragnarok.
Surprisingly, Rune: Ragnarok isn't the first Rune game in the franchise. In fact, Human Head created a game called Rune that released way back in 2000.
It looks like Rune: Ragnarok will be the game to revitalize that universe in an exciting new way. So far, we know very little about Rune: Ragnarok other than that the development team is working on it, and it'll be released some point in the future.
No details on release windows or gameplay reveal trailers have yet been mentioned.
We do have a single non-gameplay reveal trailer though. In the reveal trailer the narrator is heard saying the following:
"From birth, the children of the North hear tales of the end of the world. A battle so great the gods fall and the Nine Worlds are consumed by frost and fire. But these tales are false. The gods did not perish. For seven years our
