Whilst Dying Light was originally planned for release in March, and then delayed to February next year, it has now been pushed forward to a January release, revealed developer Techland.
The release date for North America has been set for January 27th for all platforms, whilst Europe has received a release date of January 28th for all platforms.
Dying Light is a new open world first person survival game that mixes elements from games like Dead Island and Left 4 Dead with parkour elements similar to those from Mirror’s Edge. The result is a free-flowing zombie game that focuses on allowing players to use the scenery and environment to their advantage.
Like Techland's previous IP, Dead Island, Dying Light takes a large focus on melee based combat, and a lot of the weapons that players will come across in the game will be melee based weapons such as knives, clubs or wrenches - pretty much what we've come to expect from any zombie game.
I personally think the parkour

To keep things interesting for returning players, Bungie has revealed the first of many upcoming in-game events for Destiny, which should challenge players and reward them with special bonuses after completing.
Last weekend, Bungie released their first in-game dynamic event that focused on PVP - the event added a brand new "Salvage" mode to the game that pitted two teams of three players against each other as they fought for control of different nodes within the map. The nodes must be controlled for a short time before a point is rewarded for each node, and only one node appeared on the map at one time.
Salvage has since been removed from Destiny, and the next in-game event will be a level 26 raid set on Venus. Vault of Glass will be available from September 16th, and it will put Guardians up against new challenges. Once completed, players have a chance to receive raid set gear and ascendent materials from the new raid.
There will be another PVP event and another PVE

It's finally happened, Rockstar have released all there is to know about the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Grand Theft Auto V, including the release date of the next gen version of the game.
Retailers around the world have now started to put up pre-orders for GTA V next gen for both the PS4 and the Xbox One, in anticipation for the release date, which has been set for November 18th this year.
GTA V for Xbox One and PS4 will come with a wide range of changes that couldn't make it into the original game due to hardware limitations of the previous generation of consoles. Some of the new changes include new weapons, new vehicles and new activities, as well as increased wildlife and a new and improved foliage and terrain system.
There will also be denser traffic in GTA V for PS4 and Xbox One, making car chases in the city even more intense, and players will notice changes to the weather and vehicle damage systems in-game.
There will also be an extra 100 songs

It seems that nobody can escape acquisition these days - if you're a successful business, and you manage to get the spotlight on you, chances are somebody like Google, Microsoft or Amazon will swoop down and offer a pricey deal to purchase your entire business.
Recently, Twitch was acquired by Amazon for $970 million, and now there are rumors circulating that Microsoft is looking to acquire Mojang, the creators of the ever-popular Minecraft.
Whilst nothing is definitely confirmed at this point, it is looking likely that Microsoft are looking into paying whatever they can to get hold of Minecraft, including a cash payment upwards of $2.5 billion.
The deciding factor will come down to whether the current Minecraft owners will be willing to give up their rights to the game for a huge cash sum. Markus "Notch" Persson, the original creator of Minecraft has already stated in the past that he has made enough money from Minecraft, but due to changes in Mojang, it may not be

It looks like everybody is jumping on the 'port-your-games-to-the-new-gen' band wagon, including Team Ninja, who have confirmed that they plan to bring Dead or Alive 5: Last Round to the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One, despite it being a game that released two years ago.
Dead Or Alive 5: Last Round will come with a range of improvements, including graphical changes, and most likely a frame rate and resolution increase for the PS4 and the Xbox One.
Dead Or Alive 5: Last Round will release for the PS3 and Xbox 360 too, however only a digital version will be available for last gen consoles, whilst both a physical and a digital version will be available for the Xbox One and PS4.
Whilst there is no concrete release date for Dead Or Alive 5: Last Round, Team Ninja have mentioned that it will make it's way to the world in Spring 2015 for all four Sony and Microsoft consoles currently in the spotlight.
DOA 5: Last Round will include characters that didn't make it into

At IFA this year, Sony revealed their brand new Xperia Z3, a newly upgraded Android smartphone with new hardware and software features. One of the most interesting additions to the Xperia Z3, and especially for us here at Evil Controllers, was the inclusion of remote play for the Xperia Z3.
Remote play is already a feature that has been made available on the PS Vita, but since the Xperia Play which released a few years ago, we've not seen any PlayStation-Xperia crossovers since.
The remote play feature will allow players to play PlayStation 4 games from their Xperia Z3, and through Bluetooth pairing, they will also be able to connect up their DualShock 4 controller to their Xperia smartphone too.
Whilst remote play will allow players to play any game on their Xperia Z3, a new trailer focuses on DriveClub, and the remote play can be seen in action within the trailer. The new remote play features will also be made available for the Xperia Z3 tablet, and the Xperia Z3

More details for the upcoming Mortal Kombat X have been revealed by Warner Bros. including a confirmed release date and some information on the benefits of pre-ordering the game today.
Firstly, Warner Bros. have revealed that Mortal Kombat X has been set for release on April 14, 2015, and the game will be readily available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and the PC at this date.
Secondly, Warner Bros. mentioned that players who pre-order Mortal Kombat X before it's release date will receive Goro, an additional character for the game. Goro is a four armed character who first appeared in the original Mortal Kombat as a non-playable boss.
So far, it's unclear whether Goro will be made available to those who do not pre-order at some point after the release of Mortal Kombat X, or whether Goro will remain as an exclusive for early adopters. Goro is a pretty important character in the Mortal Kombat series, so it would be a shame if he was left as an exclusive

If you've ever been anywhere near any video game retail stores recently, you've probably seen The Last of Us Remastered quickly jump to the top of the PlayStation 4 charts, so it's unlikely you'd be surprised to hear that the remastered PS4 version of the The Last of Us has managed to sell over 1 million copies already.
The original The Last of Us managed to sell over 7 million copies on the PlayStation 3, and the Remastered version of the PS4 may be able to get close to that in the coming months. Unsurprisingly, the Last of Us Remastered managed to pull in 632,000 copies in it's first week, whilst The Last of Us sold a little over double that in the same period at 1.3 million copies worldwide.
If The Last of Us Remastered continues to sell at the same pace it is now, it's possible the two games will manage to reach a combined sale of 10 million copies worldwide, which would be pretty impressive considering the game is a PlayStation exclusive.
Whilst it's possible The

It has been revealed that Bungie plan to provide a promotion to make it easier for those who own both a new and an old gen console.
In simple terms, players who purchase either the Xbox 360 version or the PlayStation version of Destiny will be able to upgrade to a new console in the future at no cost. Many developers have provided discounted 'upgrade' promotions that usually allow a player to purchase a PS4 or Xbox One copy of a game for a discounted price, as long as they own the same game for either the PS3 or Xbox 360 respectively. This is the first time a developer has offered a game upgrade for free, which is pretty awesome.
There are a few rules to the free Destiny promotion - firstly, players must choose to upgrade before January 2015, as the promotion will end after this period, and secondly, players will only be given a digital version of the game to download from either the Xbox Games store or the PSN marketplace.
Players will also only be able to use the

Payday 2 developers StarBreeze have just released a new DLC pack that is currently only available on the Steam PC store. The new DLC pack includes new guns, melee weapons masks and gun mods for just $4.99.
The new Payday 2 DLC has been dubbed the Gage Assault Pack, and it's promotional art, as you can see above, uncoincidentally resembles the splash art from Battlefield 4. It's clear that Payday 2 has been designed to be a lighthearted game with a humorous approach to gameplay, so this fun-poking at Battlefield from StarBreeze is pretty funny.
Whilst the $4.99 Gaga Assault Pack is currently only available for PC via Steam, it's expected that the DLC pack will eventually be released for other platforms as well, including the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360.
A more-in depth look at the Gage Assault Pack reveals that there will be a total of four new guns, four melee weapons, four masks, 28 gun mods, new mask materials and patterns, and a total of 10 new achievements. Unfortunately
