It's great when developers release full, unedited gameplay content instead of sending out scripted CGI trailers for their upcoming games, and this is exactly what Ubisoft have done with Rainbow Six Siege by releasing a 24 minute video of the game in action.
Within the 24 minutes, two full games of hostage rescue are played out, allowing viewers to get a good understanding of the game and what sets it apart from other current FPS games.
At the start of each Hostage Rescue game in the 24 minute video, players begin with a construction phase. For the criminal team, the construction phase involves reinforcing a certain building, whilst the Rainbow Six team must use their time to view the area via remote controlled drones.
After the game starts up, you'll see some pretty interesting gameplay from the Rainbow Six team, and I think that a lot of gamers will be drawn in by this. In Rainbow Six Siege, it looks like team strategy, communication and tactics will come in much more

Battlefield Hardline has now been confirmed to be the new upcoming Battlefield title, and despite not hearing much about the game until very recently, the new Battlefield game has been planned for release some time this year.
Battlefield Hardline has said to be a take on the criminal heist gameplay we've seen in many games recently, including titles like Payday 2 and Grand Theft Auto V. The single player in Hardline will offer a cinematic approach to gameplay content, and each campaign mission supposedly ends on a cliffhanger to keep players interested in playing the next mission, similarly to episodes in a TV series.
Battlefield Hardline will of course also come with a great selection of multiplayer content, and players will be able to play new modes, including Hostage Rescue mode that gets one team playing as SWAT who are required to rescue a hostage, and the other team playing as the hostage's captors.
Another interesting game mode is Heist, which will give criminals

Whilst 343 Industries are still working on the next Halo game for the Xbox One, they have also been working on something completely unexpected that many fans of the series may be looking forward to. This something has been named Halo: The Master Chief Collection, and it will be a bundle of games that features all four previous Halo titles that follow the story of the Master Chief.
This includes Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo 4. Games such as Halo ODST, and Halo Reach will not be included in the bundle. According to rumors, all four games will also be 'remastered,' probably in a similar fashion to how Halo: Combat Evolved was remastered in the recent Halo anniversary release for the Xbox 360.
So far it's unclear how the multiplayer will work for this bundle, but it is expected that the Master Chief Collection will come with some kind of online multiplayer matchmaking. It's quite a big project to port all four games into one collection, and so far we aren't

Despite the release of Far Cry 3 not being all that far away, Ubisoft have already announced the next title in the series; Far Cry 4. The new game in the Far Cry series will take place in a fictional Himalayan territory named the Kyrat, which will be ruled by what Ubisoft have called "a despotic self-appointed king."
Ubisoft plan to take the Far Cry franchise "to the next level" and create a game that will "surprise and exceed fan expectations." So far, not many details have been revealed on exactly how Ubisoft will plan to do this, but we'll definitely hear more about it at E3 in June.
Like previous Far Cry games, the new title in the franchise will most likely have a focus on makeshift weapons, vehicles and interactions with wildlife and animals in the world.
Surprisingly, Far Cry 4

One of the biggest news outlets for brand new Destiny information, More Console, has just released a video that gives information on the various game modes that we will be able to play when Destiny is released.
The first game mode that was revealed is Patrol, and in this mode players will be able to play through the various missions available in Destiny and explore the world at a pace and direction they see fit.
The second mode has been named Bounty - this offers a little bit of a different experience from the typical free roam Patrol mode, and places players into a MMO dungeon-like instance that gives players the chance to find rare and valuable gear.
The next game mode is called Strike, and this has been designed to work as a matchmaking system for players who want to jump into the action as quickly as possible. Most Strike games last around 15 to 30 minutes, and are designed for three player squads.
Finally, the last announced game mode is Faction Wars. This

No matter how hard one might try, it seems almost impossible to get a good TV series of a popular video game up and running. We've all wanted a Halo movie for years, and despite all of the great live action content we've been given, the best we've got is a web series.
The Defiance series on the SyFy channel took a bold step, but it didn't gain enough traction to get off the ground, so perhaps all video game based live action content will always be confined to the internet, instead of in the cinema or on the home TV.
Whilst this isn't the best situation for any would-be video game/movie crossover fans, it does still mean we can get some pretty legit web series' released, and one of these series may even be backed by the Titanfall team.
Although details are still quite minimal, it seems that Respawn have teamed up with Playfight to create some kind of live action series that will air on the internet. It'll be interesting to see how well developed this series will be,

Activision has just released four new DLC content packs for Call of Duty Ghosts that will be separate from the season pass. All four packs are small additions to the game that only change cosmetics, and they have all been released and been made available for purchase since the start of this week.
The four packs have been named 'personalization packs' and they include a few new items to change the appearance of your squad members in-game.
The first pack is the Makarov Legend Pack. This pack allows players to don the appearance of Vladimir Makarov, one of the most well known villains in the whole of Call of Duty. On top of the multiplayer Makarov skin, the Makarov Legend Pack comes with a themed weapon camo, a new reticle, a player patch, playercard and background. This pack can be picked up for $3.99

For all you diehard Borderlands fans out there, I have some bad news for you, Borderlands 3 is not yet in development, and it's unlikely to be developed for another few years at least. For the rest of us, this means we can get excited for more intellectual property from Gearbox, and some completely new games.
Randy Pitchford at Gearbox Games revealed to Polygon that although there won’t be a Borderlands 3 per se, there will be another Borderlands game in the works, but that it should be thought of as a much bigger project than Borderlands 2.
Pitchford stated, "When you think of what Borderlands 3 should be, it should be massive. It should be bigger and better than Borderlands 2. It should carry forward the story. It's probably crazy multiplatform, depending on timing. It would have to be a next-gen game and a current-gen game, if it was coming at any time in the reasonably near future."
He did continue on to state that there will be a Borderlands title

Over the last half decade, it's become quite a popular thing for developers to make remakes of their old games. I'm not just talking about new re-imagined versions of games, either, I'm talking literal ports of ancient titles with nothing new added to it other than an HD skin, in most cases.
Personally, I always feel the idea behind playing an old game is for the nostalgia value, and HD remakes always ruin that for me a little, however if you're a fan of HD remakes, you may want to keep get your wallet out because the original Far Cry game is about to join the likes of Goldeneye, Halo: Combat Evolved, and Fable: The Lost Chapters, among others.
A Far Cry Classic remake has been rumored for a while now, and it has finally been released to the public, however details are still a bit blurry. Ubisoft seemed to have messed up a little with the promotion of the project, and despite development time being put in the remake to add revamped cutscenes, enhanced graphics and a new interface,

It has pretty much been confirmed up to this point that Titanfall, at least the first game in the series, has been announced to be a Microsoft exclusive. This means that it will only be available on Microsoft platforms.
So far, a release has been set for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC, and although many Microsoft representatives have already stated that it will be a lifetime exclusivity, many others aren't so sure this is the case.
One of the main reasons why I personally doubt Titanfall will stay on Xbox for the duration of it's lifetime is because EA have too much of a good chance to bring in both a huge revenue, and a massive player base if they aimed for the PlayStation 4 as well as the Xbox One.
So, unless Microsoft are paying a heavy load of money EA's way, I'd say it's very likely that future Titanfall games will be cross-platform.
I'm not the only one that believes this either. In fact, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Brand Manager Alex Moyet
