Like many games in the franchise before it, the launch of Advanced Warfare has been filled with complaints from angry players who just can't play through the game without dealing with some kind of lag.
Whilst Sledgehammer Games are working round the clock to iron out all of the issues that currently plague AW, there's no doubt that the game is less enjoyable than it should be right now because of all the problems. We have listed the most complained about issues below.
Bad Hit Detection
This seems to be a problem that is directly correlated with the issue listed below. Bad hit detection in Advanced Warfare will make it difficult for players to land hits at some points in the game, especially when the host of the server has a particularly bad connection.
This is something Sledgehammer are working on, but it may be a few weeks before the hit detection problems are solved.
No Dedicated Servers
It seems all developers are opting for dedicated servers

Whilst all of the main characters for Smash Bros have now been revealed, Nintendo still have plans to add more characters to the roster in the future in the form of DLC.
The first character to get the Nintendo DLC treatment has been revealed to be MewTwo. This is a character that hasn't been in the franchise since Smash Bros Melee, so I think there's a lot of excitement for MewTwo.
MewTwo will be offered for free to those who buy both the 3DS version of Smash Bros and the Wii U version of the game. Whilst he is still in development at this point in time, MewTwo should be made available at some point in Spring 2015.
Whilst he's been mentioned as a DLC character, no word has yet been given on whether MewTwo will be made available for those who do not buy both versions of the game, although the word DLC does suggest that he will be put up for sale for those not willing to splash out on both the 3DS and the Wii U version of the game.
There's been a lot of new news

The Iron Banner mode in Destiny is a PVP game type that does not level out weapon stats to make an even playing field. Instead, players' weapons are left mainly untouched, which gives players with legendary and exotic weapons the ability to get an advantage over those with lower tiered weapons.
There is a lot of mixed thoughts on the Iron Banner mode in Destiny. Some players like the opportunity it gives them to try out their overpowered weapons on opponents, whilst others feel it completely removes the skill from the game.
Bungie have been listening to community feedback, and following on from this they have made some considerable changes to how the Iron Banner mode in Destiny will work going forward
Tyson Green, lead designer at Destiny shared some information on how the Iron Banner changes are taking place.
"The goal for level advantages in PvP had been to create relatively small advantages that would suffice only to tilt the balance between players of equal

In a recent interview, Phil Spencer revealed some information about Microsoft's plans to bring back two old franchises from the older generation Xbox consoles.
In the interview, the following games were mentioned to Phil Spencer : Alan Wake, Banjo Kazooie, Blinx the Time Sweeper, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Fusion Frenzy, Halo Wars, High Heat Baseball, Kameo, Knights of The Old Republic, MechAssault, Otogi and Shenmue.
Phil Spencer was then asked if any of the prior mentioned games were ever going to receive new installations for the Xbox One, and Phil responded with a very exciting answer -
"There are a couple games on that list that we're doing some work on. I'll just say that. People should know that we listen to feedback, we have ideas, and there are franchises in the past we think would be great to come again."
In my opinion this is great news - the Xbox has had many great exclusive titles over the last decade, and many of them have been left behind for newer

New details have emerged about a planned update that will add a bit more customization to the Xbox One dashboard.
Phil Spencer, head of Xbox, has recently confirmed that the Xbox One will soon be getting new options for custom backgrounds, along with talking about other plans for the platform, in a new TiC podcast.
During the podcast, Phil Spencer mentioned that backgrounds, screenshots and themes will be coming to the Xbox One soon, however Spencer failed to mentioned exactly when this would be.
When asked about the Xbox One UI and the likelihood of seeing background and profile pic customization options, Phil Spencer replied with, "You will see it, I'll announce it here - I was told themes and background pics are something we're working on, and screenshots -- people beat me up about screenshots - I know people like to customize the look of their dashboard, we're going to deliver them, I can't give you a when yet."
By the sounds of it, a lot more UI customization

New screenshots of Tekken 7 have hit the internet that show off a few aspects of the game, including two characters new to the franchise. The first new character shown in official screens has been named as Claudio. Not many details have been given about Claudio, besides from the fact that he dons a white cloak, and some players have made relations to Maxi from the Soul Calibur series.
Another character in the screens by the name of Katarina has also been revealed, but once again, details on this character have been left out. Both characters can be seen in the image shown above. Along with the two new characters, Tekken 7 will host all previous characters seen in previous games in the franchise.
Whilst Tekken 7 is still under development a few arcades in Japan have the game available for play, and players have reported that the game will come with a few new gameplay mechanics, including Power Crush, a new ability that allows players to take hits from the opponent whilst trying

We've already talked a little bit about the new upcoming features of Grand Theft Auto V for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, but new rumors suggest that there may be even more features planned for the game that Rockstar are yet to reveal.
One such rumor makes the proposal that Rockstar may have been working on a first person mode for Grand Theft Auto 5, and it may make it's way into the game for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One release.
Whilst there's no way to confidently confirm or deny these rumors, the source comes from a Rockstar blog reader who supposedly found a 'cached' version of the new gen announcement blog within the Rockstar website's code.
On the cached version of the website, the first person mode was described as 'A brand new first person mode for vehicles that shows the interior of the vehicle, including working speedometers, tachometers, dash lights, and more.'
The cached blog post also went on to describe a new first person mode whilst on foot

I don't know how it happens, but once again somebody has made a mistake on Amazon and has accidentally posted up a product listing that really shouldn't be there. Recently, a product listing for Mass Effect for the PlayStation 4 was found on Amazon, however after it was shared across the web, it was shortly removed from the website, confirming that it shouldn't have really been there in the first place.
Whether or not it was an accident, or a smartly placed marketing attempt by BioWare, it's clear that something Mass Effect related might just be coming to the PlayStation 4 soon. The description for the Mass Effect product listing on Amazon wasn't filled with much details, so we have been left to speculate.
It's very unlikely the listing was relating to the new Mass Effect game as there is still a lot of work that needs to be done before the game is ready for promotion. Instead, I personally think the listing could be suggesting a new PS4 port for the original Mass Effect game.

Mortal Kombat X and Tekken 7 have already been announced, and Killer Instinct has been available for free on the Xbox One since it's launch, and in the coming years, Street Fighter will also make it's debut to the new generation of consoles, new details reveal.
Yoshinori Ono recently revealed details for a new Street Fighter game for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One on Twitter by stating "Hahaha, some time or other..." After being asked about the possibility of a PS4 or Xbox One Street Fighter title.
This new information reveals that Capcom do have plans for a new Street Fighter game for both the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4, but it may be a while before we finally see it make an appearance. It's likely the game is still in early development stages, if it's even started development at all.
Yoshinori Ono also revealed on twitter that there are no plans to release a Street Fighter game for the Wii U, once again showing that hardly publishers are interested in releasing

This won't be the first time, but recent news reveals that the upcoming Call of Duty game, Advanced Warfare, will have a selection of third person modes for the multiplayer portion of the game which will release some time after the game officially launches worldwide.
Sledgehammer Games have put quite a lot of effort into renewing the multiplayer experience of the Call of Duty franchise in Advanced Warfare, and what we've learned so far is that Sledgehammer will offer a range of new mechanics to make the game feel fresh, but the experience will still be recognized by Call of Duty fans across the globe.
On top of putting effort into new gameplay mechanics, Sledgehammer are thinking hard about the various multiplayer playlists available. It's already been revealed that the game will have a set of standard playlists, and a set of traditional non-exo suit playlists too. On top of this, it's now looking likely that Advanced Warfare will also get a third person playlist at some point
