Anybody remember the announcement for Overkill's The Walking Dead game? It was quite some time ago, but it excited the entire gaming industry.
Unfortunately, Overkill's The Walking Dead has now been delayed even further and we're unlikely to see a release date until 2018. The estimated release window for the game has now been set for the second half of 2018 by the development team behind the project.
For those unaware, Overkill is the same team behind the popular Payday franchise. Payday 2 currently sits at roughly 10,000 peak concurrent users on Steam each day. Overkill hopes to create a game for The Walking Dead that incorporates co-op gameplay, storytelling, and robust level design that will help to heighten the game's replay value.
While the delay is bad news for those hoping to get their hands on a new The Walking Dead game, it shows the developers aren't stuck to any time restrictions, so the end product should hopefully be well polished and closer to their initial

Codemasters has released a brand new trailer for their upcoming racing game, Dirt 4, and it already looks absolutely spectacular.
The trailer is only a minute long, but it does show off some good in-game footage from some off-road tracks, as well as some more traditional off-road racing spots. The game also features the song Instigators by Grace Potter - we feel like it's a fitting choice. It'll be one of the forty songs that will accompany Dirt 4's soundtrack upon the game's release.
Speaking of release, Dirt 4 has booked a North American release date of June 6th, 2017. The rest of the world will receive the game on June 9th. Dirt 4 will be available for PC, Xbox One and PS4.
Dirt 4 will come with 50 off-road ready vehicles at launch, including the Ford Fiesta R5, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI, Subaru WRX STI NR4 and Audi Sport quattro S1 E2. The game will feature rally locations across Australia, Spain, Michigan, Sweden, and Wales. Players will have access to the

Destiny 2 has been announced and rumors of a Call of Duty WW2 release in 2017 are circulating the internet.
The biggest news this week comes from the Bungie camp. Finally, after months of us knowing it was coming, Bungie has announced Destiny 2. The upcoming game is set to release later this year and should come to PS4, Xbox One and PC.
This time around, Bungie may have learned from their mistakes on their first release for the Destiny universe. So far, we have had a single Destiny reveal trailer, and it already showcases more character and liveliness than perhaps the entirety of the first Destiny game.
Fans that were disappointed about the lack of story and scale in the first Destiny title are definitely going to be excited about Destiny 2.
We've also heard rumors that the next Call of Duty game will be inspired by the events of WW2. After seeing EA's back-in-time success with Battlefield 1, it comes as no surprise that Activision may have ordered one of the

The Xbox Game Pass has been announced and it's seeking to be the Netflix of gaming.
The newly announced Xbox Game Pass will cost users a monthly fee of $9.99, but with it will come unlimited access to over 100 titles. Unlike Netflix, users of the Xbox Game Pass will be able to download their games and play them - there will be no limit to the amount of games a player can download at once, as long as they have enough internal memory and their Xbox Game Pass subscription is still active.
Some of the games included in the Game Pass are older titles that can be picked up for cheap, both digitally and in physical form, but a lot of the games are recent releases. Most titles on the list so far are considered to be very decent games, too.
Highlights of the Game Pass include access to Halo 5: Guardians, Gears of War Judgment, Gears of War Ultimate Edition and NBA 2K16. The Xbox Game Pass also includes a number of classic Xbox 360 titles and arcade games such as Kameo, Hexic

A small clip featuring Yooka-Laylee gameplay footage has been published to the Playtonic's Twitter page, and it includes never before seen features.
For many, a Banjo Kazooie remake is something worth dreaming about. However, after the latest Banjo Kazooie title, a lot of fans have been disinterested in seeing any future titles. The development team, Playtonic, has revitalized the world's interest in such a game though, with their spiritual successor named Yooka-Laylee.
The company includes many of the developers that worked on the original Banjo Kazooie games that gained popularity back in the N64, Gamecube and SNES days. As a result, Yooka-Laylee has a huge amount of throwbacks to that time period - it looks like it's going to be the game to bring 3D platformers and collectathons back to life.
One of our concerns about Yooka-Laylee was the control system - previous footage has shown us that the game looks incredible, at least on a visual front, and fortunately it

Ubisoft has recently shared more details about the upcoming Ghost Recon Wildlands, including information about 2017 beta access.
One of the first new pieces of information that Ubisoft has shared about Ghost Recon Wildlands, is that players will have access to their own individual drone in single player mode. The drone can be customized and used in different ways depending on what changes a player has made to it.
"You can customize your drone depending on your playstyle and how you prefer to use it. You can upgrade the recon abilities by improving its autonomy, add different electronic views (night vision, thermal view, etc.), or change optics for better zoom abilities. You can also use the drone for diversion by putting devices which will generate sounds to lure enemies."
"You can also upgrade the engine to be more silent when needed, or implement an EMP bomb to switch off enemy electronic devices. And if you want to use the drone in assault mode, you can equip the
