If you have been keeping your eyes on the newly announced PlayStation 4 anniversary console, then you will know that the product is pretty hard to come by. Whilst at first we thought that the console would go up for sale just like any other standard variant of the PS4, it seems that this is not the case.
In fact, many gamers have complained at the difficulty of trying to grab one of the new anniversary PlayStation 4's. Whilst there are odd deals such as PlayStation stores giving away PS4s for just £19.99 in London, the console itself cannot be officially purchased online from any retail store, and whilst Sony did put up an unannounced purchase page for the anniversary PlayStation 4, within minutes that page came crashing down, and it seems as if all copies have now been sold.
Let's admit it, the new PS4 anniversary console, does look really nice, and I'm sure a lot of gamers want to get a hold of it, as it's nostalgic design is a piece of many people's childhood.

Despite being a very popular franchise for the original two PlayStation consoles, Sony has failed to mention anything about the future of Crash Bandicoot for a very long time. No news of development on new Crash Bandicoot games has been revealed by Sony, and many fans have presumed that the franchise is now dead.
Whatever the truth may be, we don't know - all we can do is speculate. One rumor is that Crash Bandicoot has some trademark problems, and Sony doesn't actually own all of the rights to the game, which basically means they cannot get away with releasing a new Crash Bandicoot, even if they wanted to.
Others suggest that development for Crash Bandicoot has simply been dropped by Sony following the last few games that did not sell very well on the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360.
Either way, Sony has recently posted an image on their Twitter that pays homage to the franchise, and many gamers have jumped to the conclusion that Sony might just be planning a Crash

Out of nowhere, Capcom has confirmed that Street Fighter 5 is in the works, but the most surprising bit of news from Capcom's announcement was it's decision to make Street Fighter 5 an exclusive for the PlayStation 4.
The Street Fighter franchise has always been available on both Xbox and PlayStation, so it is odd to see Capcom suddenly move over to PlayStation 4 only. The only thing we can think of is Sony have managed to offer Capcom a payout they couldn't turn down, and as a result the game has been given PS4 exclusivity.
Interestingly, Street Fighter 5 will also be made available for the PC, but it's console exclusivity remains on the PlayStation 4.
A full gameplay reveal trailer for Street Fighter 5 was released by Capcom, but it has since been set to private - perhaps the development company and publisher isn't quite ready to reveal the game to the world just yet.
Either way, we can expect to see some real gameplay of Street Fighter 5 fairly shortly, and

Rockstar have already announced that Heists will be the first thing they work on after launching GTA for the next gen consoles, but in new news it's been revealed that Rockstar will not release any content updates without releasing an update with the heists in first.
That means no more clothing packs, no more vehicles, nothing until the heists are pushed out to public servers. This is great for two reasons - firstly it means the developers of GTA 5 will be dedicated to finishing online heists, and secondly the heists will be released fairly shortly after the game's launch.
Like with many things of similar fashion, no definitive release date for online heists has been given, but all four consoles will receive it at the same time, as "the first GTA Online update to happen after the game launches on PS4 and Xbox One."
After hearing complaints about the delays of online heists, Rockstar replied with a pretty standard apologetic statement "They are taking more time to create

It isn't often that you hear about AAA developers completely redesigning their games, but Guerrilla, the developers of Killzone Shadow Fall, seem to be gearing up to release a brand new patch to Shadow Fall that will completely change the direction of the game.
Once the new patch is released, players will be able to earn Valor instead of experience points - this Valor will count as a new kind of currency, and players will be able to spend their Valor on Mystery boxes that have a chance to open up random gear that would typically be award for completing challenges and missions.
On top of the new mystery boxes, players will also be able to complete daily challenges that will be updated every 24 hours. These new challenges will reward players with extra Valor.
Similarly to the daily challenges, a new daily login bonus will allow players who log in to the game regularly to earn extra rewards.
Whilst no definite date has been set for this interesting new multiplayer

Thinking about splashing out some cash this Black Friday? If you are, you may want to keep your eye out on a brand new PlayStation 4 bundle that is currently being developed by Sony specifically for Black Friday.
Whilst it hasn't been confirmed by Sony yet, rumors suggest that the brand new PlayStation 4 bundle may be the biggest one yet, and it will include a range of different bundled additions on top of the console and single DualShock 4 controller that comes with the standard SKU.
According to the rumors, the Sony Black Friday bundle will come with three first party titles and the standard 500GB console and single DualShock 4 controller. The kicker here is that the price is expected to be "very competitive" compared to buying the console and three games separately.
On Black Friday, the bundle is undoubtedly expected to be available for cheap, but it will be interesting to if and what Sony will offer for it after Black Friday is up.
As for the three first

It looks as if Sony really have their game on - as well as agreeing to only provide AAA or high quality indie titles for the free PS Plus lineup going forward, they have now revealed their free games for November, and so far there's a lot up for grabs.
The first game announced for the PS Plus games for November was The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth. Whilst the original Binding of Isaac has been out for a long time, the Rebirth version has only just dropped, so being able to pick up for free, practically on launch day, is a pretty big deal.
For those unaware, The Binding of Isaac is a loot-filled rogue-like RPG arcade game - it can be picked up for free on both PS4 and PS Vita this month.
The next free title this month is Escape Plan, a fun arcade game that whilst looking amazing on the big screen, was lacking a little gameplay wise.
Finally, SteamWorld Dig has been put up for free for both PS Vita and PS4. along with The Hungry Horde, a brand new PS Vita arcade indie

It's always great to hear about new records within the gaming industry, and today I have some news to share about Sony and their recent new PSN record. This week, Sony revealed that September 2014 had shown to be the biggest month for the PlayStation Network ever since it's debut on the PlayStation 3.
One of the biggest drivers of the success for the new PSN record was of course Destiny, a new game that has managed to stay on the top selling charts for a considerably long time. Firstly, Destiny has already sold PlayStation Network sales records for many different categories by itself, including most pre-orders, best week one sales and best day one sales.
When you factor in the huge hype for Destiny and the growing player base on the PlayStation 4, you end up with over 125 million hours worth of gameplay in just one month - this is exactly what happened in September 2014, and it is what made the PlayStation Network look very impressive this half.
Sony managed to increase

Whilst Minecraft for the PlayStation 4 has been available as a digital download from the PlayStation Network since the beginning of this month, many players who have hoped for a retail version of the game have had to hold their breath for a physical release.
Luckily enough, Mojang has now announced that the physical retail version of Minecraft PS4 is on the way, and players will be able to pick it up from in-store starting from some time in October this year. In Sony's official press release related to the matter, Sony announced that,
"As many of you will already know, Minecraft: PlayStation 4 Edition has been available from PlayStation Store since the beginning of the month. Following the successful digital launch, we are pleased to announce that the retail disc version will be available from 3rd October."
Sony followed on this topic by mentioning the upcoming PS Vita version of Minecraft, and their plans for cross-buy support for the game,
"In other Minecraft

At IFA this year, Sony revealed their brand new Xperia Z3, a newly upgraded Android smartphone with new hardware and software features. One of the most interesting additions to the Xperia Z3, and especially for us here at Evil Controllers, was the inclusion of remote play for the Xperia Z3.
Remote play is already a feature that has been made available on the PS Vita, but since the Xperia Play which released a few years ago, we've not seen any PlayStation-Xperia crossovers since.
The remote play feature will allow players to play PlayStation 4 games from their Xperia Z3, and through Bluetooth pairing, they will also be able to connect up their DualShock 4 controller to their Xperia smartphone too.
Whilst remote play will allow players to play any game on their Xperia Z3, a new trailer focuses on DriveClub, and the remote play can be seen in action within the trailer. The new remote play features will also be made available for the Xperia Z3 tablet, and the Xperia Z3
