Weve never done one of these before on our blog, but I wanted to give a shout out to my long time favorite website (alongside Facebook, but thats everyones favorite website), Cracked.com. Ive been following the site daily for just short of a year and a half now, and they never fail to impress, educate, and entertain me. And, to get me to stick around consistently with a website for that long is certainly a feat!

For those of you who arent familiar with the website, Cracked.com is a humor site that uploads daily articles (mainly in list form, which are always my favorite articles), comics, videos, and photos. With a large collection of writers working for them, their articles come in a variety of different styles and topics, ranging from the recent 6 Famous Frivolous Lawsuit Stories That Are Total B.S. to some of my other favorites, 7 Scientific Reasons a Zombie Outbreak Would Fail (Quickly), and 6 Adorable Cat Behaviors With Shockingly Evil Explanations. And, of course, I could never forget to mention that they share my love for Theodore Roosevelt and have expressed that with a huge library of articles written about his overall badassness and impressiveness.

What I love about Cracked is that it never fails to make me laugh while actually teaching me some pretty interesting and educational scientific and historical information. Cracked writers take amazing facts that a history book makes so boring, and turns them into an exciting read. I actually can credit Cracked to my now love for history, a subject I got a C in during high school because frankly, textbooks are boring. History isnt, and thanks to Cracked, I get to experience it in a way I hadnt before seen possible. For example, without Cracked.com, I wouldnt have ever heard of the fact that Andrew Jackson practically destroyed the white house twice with parties, once involving a giant cheese wheel, or the fact that Ghenghis Khan is a grandfather to somewhere around .01 percent of todays population because he was such a pimp (hey, I didnt say it was important historical knowedge, did I?). On top of that, I gain great conversation starters with cited scientific facts to back them up…Did you guys know that were not actually supposed to shower every single day? Gross, but I learned it at Cracked. Complete with scientific proof.

Furthermore, Cracked offers some great contests for reader feedback and interaction. The photoshop contests are great. I definitely have laughed out loud more times than I can count because of Cracked.com, so I absolutely suggest to all our readers that you head over and check out the site!

P.S. If youre looking for more, I also highly suggest 11points.com and Oddee.com. Great for boredom. Maybe I'll review them next!
