Modern Warfare 3 Launches with a Celebrity Filled Advert.

So by the time you read this blog entry,Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is likely in your hands. It's in everyone's hands as well; including celebrities who are fans of the series. Haters are gonna hate that COD's popularity stretches to all kinds of people, but it doesn't stop it from being a very fun game. In comes Avatar's Sam Worthington and Superbad's Jonah Hill, as well as a funny cameo in the end.

Both celebrities portray the veteran player (Worthington) and the noob (Hill). The two then set out to dominate a live-action portrayal of online multiplayer, going from New York to Berlin to Paris to even a free falling plane leaving Moscow. Over the course of time, the noob turns into a veteran. This kind of describes evolution of a COD gamer in a nutshell.

As if the ad couldn't get better, AC/DC's Shoot To Thrill plays in the background and we are treated with a cameo by Orlando Magic's Dwight Howard, who portrays himself as a noob (a'la last year's Black Ops commercial's with Kobe Bryant and his noob tube M-16).

If you want to see the commercial, you can check it out on this article on Kotaku.
