News of Gears of War 3 reaches Epic Games' office. Staff celebrates with delicious cake.

Microsoft andEpic Games have just recently announced thatGears of War 3 pre-ordershas reached Gold status before its worldwide launch on September 20th. With this news reaching all over the gaming world, Epic Games and Microsoft decided that it was time to celebrate this achievement with an epic cake.

Seen above, Epic Games's Design Director Cliff Bleszinski is seen delicately cutting the cake (which was a surprise gift from Microsoft) with a Gold Retro Lancer.
