Intense Game Trailer

A while back I saw a trailer for a game while I was surfing the internet. My computer or internet connection was acting up so I only got to watch about 20-25 seconds of a three minute long video. Well, finally I remembered to go back and look up the game trailer again the other day. To say the least, I was blown away. The trailer was for a game called Dead Island, set to release September 6, 2011.

This game trailer is unlike anything I have ever seen. It is played in reverse, which at first gives you this feeling of, what in the H-E double hockey sticks is going on! However, as the game trailer progresses it flashes back to segments of the non-reversed version, until the two versions meet up at the end of the game trailer.

All in all the way this video was put together makes you feel on edge the whole time. It also doesnt help that the main character of the video is a child who is being chased by zombies. So, of course since it is a child most people are going to show more sympathy towards her situation and want her to be alright and not get hurt.

However, these aspects dont complete the whole story. One of the biggest things for me was the music. It has such a sad and ominous tone, that you cant seem to shake the video even after youve watched it. It was the perfect song for this video.

I strongly suggest that if you gamers want to watch an epic game trailer, go look it up. I promise you wont be disappointed. Im not going to tell you every detail of the video because I dont want to ruin the experience for all of you who have not seen it yet. However, I must warn you it is very intense and shocking so it may not be for everyone. You have been warned! Now go check it out!
