Metal Gear Limited Edition

There has been a lot of hype leading up to the next Metal Gear Solid game, and although we know the new game will make it on to retail later this month, we haven't really had much information on the available editions of the game.

However, things have changed, as Gamestop have uploaded the Metal Gear Rising Revengeance limited edition up for preorder on their website, and MetalgearsolidTV has uploaded a bunch of stunning images to go along with it.

The limited edition includes a beautiful artbook from Kojima himself, including 24 pages of amazing artwork from the game.

If the Limited Edition doesn't satisfy you enough, there are a couple limited Japan edition premium packages that you may be able to get your hands on if you're really lucky, and know how to ship over from Japan before the Japanese fans get their hands on it before you.

The first premium package includes the MGRR game, soundtrack cd with special steel book, Yoji Shinkawa art book, 2 built-in magnet Dwarf Gekko figurines, Cyborg Ninja and White Armor Raiden downloadable skins. Price 9,980 yen or $121.

The next premium package is a special limited Konami style pack which includes everything in the standard premium plus a "White Armor" Metal Gear Rising Revengeance Play Arts Kai figure. Price 12,980 yen or $160.

Surprisingly the first premium package is cheaper than the US limited edition, however, if you don't live in Japan, you may have to pay a pretty penny to get hold of one.

MGRR is available on February 19th, with the limited edition costing $149.99.
