Microsoft Rewards for GTA 5

Grand Theft Auto 5 is going to be very successful. And when you look at the release of the previous game, you'll understand as well as I that there is no doubt about its upcoming success.

However, with a title as big as this, the two big console manufacturers, Microsoft and Sony, are bound to offer incentives to rope people into buying on their console instead of the other, and with the next-gen approaching, both manufacturers are probably going to try and squeeze as many pennies as possible out of the pockets of loyal gamers.

But what if you have both an Xbox 360 and PS3? If you look past the social aspects that both platforms have to offer, there's usually little reason to make a choice between the two. However, a big selling point for Sony this year round is that Grand Theft Auto 5 will only need one disc on the PS3, whereas the 360 is going to use two discs.

To combat this, Microsoft is putting up some pretty interesting offers on the game, among other titles.

GTA 5, along with Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel, Bioshock Infinite, Crysis 3 Hunter Edition, Dead Space 3 Limited Edition, Lost Planet 3, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, Tomb Raider, Tiger Woods PGA Golf Tour 14, and South Park: The Stick of Truth have been put up for pre-order on the Xbox Live marketplace, and upon purchase you will be given 1600 Microsoft Points as a freebie.

If you're regularly spending Microsoft Points, or may do in the future then this deal could be a decent option for you, as the 1600 Microsoft Points are the equivalent to around $20.

One thing to note though is that if you pre-order one of these titles, you'll be charged immediately, even though the games have still not been released.
