beyond two souls ps4Beyond: Two Souls may have been lacking in true gameplay content, but it still offered a unique experience that was hard to find elsewhere - I found the story quite enjoyable myself, and whilst it could have been improved in many ways, I wouldn't say it wasn't worth my time or money.

For those that got caught up in the console generation crossover and didn't get a chance to play through Beyond: Two Souls, you may be in luck. Whilst it's only rumors and whispering at the moment, it's looking quite likely. A portfolio from a game programmer working on Beyond: Two Souls has been spotted on the internet, that before it was suddenly removed, it contained an image that suggested coding was in place for DualShock 4 input.

There was also a reference to a "director's cut" that may include cut scenes, and if you're still not taking the bait, the co-CEO of Beyond: Two Souls started to re-tweet a few tweets that referenced a Beyond: Two Souls remake, which would suggest he knows something about all of this already.

Naughty Dog have already announced a next gen version for the Last of Us, and Tomb Raider also saw a HD remake on current gen consoles. Transitioning between consoles can always be a bit frustrating, but going from the PS3 to the PS4 was especially difficult considering 2013 was one of the best years gaming has seen for a good while, so it's nice to see all of these ports making it to the PS4.
