Tomb Raider 1 Million

According to an Eidos admin, the new Tomb Raider title has hit a huge amount of sales within its first two days. If what the Eidos admin is said to be true, the new Tomb Raider reboot has sold over 1 million copies in around 48 hours. The post he made was short, simply saying "TR9 sales hits 1 million after < 48 hours!"

Before this reboot, the franchise was failing a bit, but the new game has managed to receive a huge appraisal from both critics and the gaming community. A lot of gamers have been incredibly happy with its results, with a lot of gamers feeling that it deserves to bring in some game of the year awards.

Square Enix, Eidos Montreal, and Crystal Dynamics are probably all over the moon at the game's success, and will hopefully continue to support the game with new DLC and possibly more games for the franchise in the future.
