Rumor Mill: Modern Warfare 4

There's been a Call of Duty game practically every year thanks to Treyarch and Infinity Ward, and because of the franchise's huge success, it's likely that there will continue to be a new Call of Duty release every year for quite a few years to come. It seems strange to be talking about Infinity Ward's next Call of Duty when Treyarch's Black Ops 2 isn't even on sale yet, but if there is to be a COD game next year, now would seem a likely time for Treyarch to start calling out to more talent for the development of the game, such as voice actors or sound testers.

According to Bill Murray, a voice actor for the hugely popular series, there will be a Modern Warfare 4. A journalist from ThisisXbox claims that he bumped into Bill whilst on a flight from Bodrum to Stansted, who, according to the journalist, has spilled the beans on the new Modern Warfare title.

"On Monday I am off to meet Infinity Ward about the next game, Modern Warfare 4," Murray said. "I'm doing work on the sequel to Modern Warfare 3, it carries straight on and I only appear in the Modern Warfare games."

If this is a true statement, then we could well be in for another Modern Warfare game, but will it live up to MW2's standards? Or will it be a disappointing title with little improvement from Modern Warfare 3?

Infinity Ward denied the claims by Bill and the journalist, saying that they haven't been speaking to voice actors and it's all just a bunch of rumors. Whether or not Infinity's statement is true, there is a very high chance that Infinity are working on a new game, we're just uncertain what, or when the game will be.
