Metal Gear Solid 4 25th Anniversary
Konami has recently announced an anniversary edition for Metal Gear Solid 4, celebrating the 25th birthday of the Metal Gear series, dating back to the original Metal Gear game for the MSX PC console which was released in 1987.
The 25th Anniversary edition follows on from the HD collection released last year, where Konami have redefined games solely for the series' loyal fans. However, those who were new to the series after purchasing the HD remastered games on an Xbox 360 console for the first time may be disappointed to hear that unlike the HD collection, the 25th Anniversary Edition Metal Gear Solid 4 game

Bungie's New Game: Destiny
Earlier this week a leaked document from Bungie Headquarters showed the background and concept art of their upcoming game.
The basic story deals with a futuristic human race that, after colonizing the stars has been fought back by an alien race to Earth. The only thing left is one city that is being protected by a giant alien space ship, from a different alien, hovering above that city.
"A massive, mysterious alien ship hangs overhead like a second moon. No one knows where it came from or what it's here for, but only that it's our protector," One of the passages in the concept art said.

Bungie were very nice to the Halo Reach community, and were always fine tuning the matchmaking playlists to make players' gameplay experiences ever more improved. Bungie went as far as to change some of the weapon mechanics, which is a huge deal when applying this to an Xbox 360 game that had been out for over a year. 343 Industries hasn't mentioned any such game-changing plans, but they are adding and rotating the War Games playlists each week. Last week 343 added SWAT to the mix, which for many was a great relief, and it's quickly become one of the most played playlists on War Games matchmaking.Next week 343 will be adding Team Snipers, which will be playable on Longbow, Complex, Solace, Ragnarok, Vortex, Exile and Meltdown. Similarly to SWAT, players will be able to choose between predefined load outs, although so far secondary weapons have not been included.
A few other changes have also been applied to matchmaking, and although there isn't anything too interesting, these

There is a trend in 2011 game releases that has us very excited. This being the debut of refurbished classic gaming titles, which feature updated graphics, and improved game play that is consistent with the original titles. Two of the most prominent remakes are Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary and Legend of Zelda:Ocarina of Time 3D, both of which are poised to be excellent new additions to the already highly popular originals.
In light of these classic remakes, I have been going back over the

Halo's Finale....best to be ending now on a high note.
Extending the Halo trilogy was considered, but did not prevail. Bungie's writers thought about it since the ending of Halo 3 left an opening for an extension, but in the end the idea didn't make it past pre-production. Bungie's Brian Jarrard explains it wasn't in their best interest to continue on. So they are leaving it as the Halo trilogy instead of opening new doors and carrying the baggage of continuing on.
