Whilst matchmaking systems can get players into games quickly, it can effectively ruin the potential that custom game lobbies have, and when it comes to games like Battlefield 4, which have dozens of variables to take into consideration, the overall game experience can get a little diminished. So far, custom game lobbies haven't been made available in Battlefield 4 for console gamers, however, just like with Battlefield 3, EA have plans to introduce a system that will allow players to rent out servers.
Once a server is rented out, the server renter will be able to choose between plenty of variables, set up map rotation, and choose between various other multiplayer lobby options.
Once a server has been rented, there are certain rules that need to be stuck to in order to keep your server from being removed from the "official server pool." Servers the official pool are very similar to official EA servers, and if a player chooses to quick join, there is a chance official pool

Titanfall has only just been released, and we're already talking about the sequel. However, we have good reason to. Titanfall was never originally planned to be a Microsoft exclusive, however it seems that Respawn decided to partner with Microsoft after being sent the offer to, most likely for extra revenue reasons.
It's probable that the choice was on EA's hands, but even though Titanfall has been confirmed as an Xbox and PC exclusive, the rights to Titanfall have not been sold to Microsoft, which means it's completely possible that the Titanfall sequel could be cross-platform.
Vince Zampella stated on Twitter that Respawn have not sold the rights to Titanfall to Microsoft, and although there hasn't been any confirmation, many Respawn developers have hinted that a Titanfall sequel for all consoles could be very possible.
Titanfall 2 will most likely be made, and EA seem to be very confident that the title could do extremely well as a franchise, but EA would be stupid

Watch Dogs will have an interesting multiplayer options that will allow other online players to join uninvited to an open sessions, from which they can choose to do a variety of things.
The full multiplayer experience has not yet been detailed, but it's understood that the system will allow other players to drop in and out as they please, and this opens up open lobbied players to a lot of potential griefing.
Whilst the option is there for players to work together, Ubisoft has taken into consideration that some bad eggs may attempt to join open lobbies simply to ruin the experience of others, and according to lead game designer Danny Belanger, there will be a bunch of integrated features to allow lobby hosts to combat griefing.
Firstly, if players simply want to play on their own, they can completely switch off the drop in, drop out multiplayer, which will completely cut any ties with any other players, and allow people to play through the game by themselves as a single

A new comparison of various released footage of Watch Dogs has revealed something - as the game has progressed, the graphics seemed to have been downgraded, and from the first footage we saw in 2012, to the graphics shown this month in March, there is a considerable difference between the graphical quality of both builds.
In a world where console fans argue about the importance of 1080p over 720p, this is a huge thing, and there has been a lot of backlash about it.
The new story trailer that was released this week shows that the graphics in Watch Dogs have certainly been reduced from the original build shown in 2012, and since then fans have been pretty angry at Ubisoft for doing this.
A Ubisoft PR member talked about the whole controversy on twitter, and she discussed that, although graphics are great, gameplay is more important. On top of this, she seems to suggest that the graphics have not been downgraded in any way.
It's important to note that this was from

Activision has just released four new DLC content packs for Call of Duty Ghosts that will be separate from the season pass. All four packs are small additions to the game that only change cosmetics, and they have all been released and been made available for purchase since the start of this week.
The four packs have been named 'personalization packs' and they include a few new items to change the appearance of your squad members in-game.
The first pack is the Makarov Legend Pack. This pack allows players to don the appearance of Vladimir Makarov, one of the most well known villains in the whole of Call of Duty. On top of the multiplayer Makarov skin, the Makarov Legend Pack comes with a themed weapon camo, a new reticle, a player patch, playercard and background. This pack can be picked up for $3.99

Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes is kind of like a prologue to the actual fifth installment of Metal Gear Solid, however, despite this, it is still being treated like a full blown game, and unless you buy the pack with access to both titles in, it will cost just as much as a full game too.
Unfortunately though, I don't think Ground Zeroes will be anywhere as good as the Phantom Pain is looking to be, and one of the reasons for this may be because the story mode on Ground Zeroes may end up being ridiculously short.
And by ridiculously short, I mean less than two hours short. Of course, it's hard to know whether this is the true average play time, or the time it would take to complete the game when you already know everything you need to do, and completely disregard all of the other cool things to explore in the world.
Some are saying that the game plays for about 2-5 hours on average, but according to Hideo Kojima's personal assistant, Ayoka, all of this information

PlanetSide 2 is an open world futuristic military shooter that banks on player progression over killstreaks and player skill. It’s a pretty fun team-based game that gets three factions constantly fighting over land, and the greatest thing about it is that it's completely free to play.
The game originally launched on PC, but after making deals with Sony, plans were made to release the game onto the PlayStation 4. However, since their official confirmation of the game being made available for the PS4 some time in the future, we haven't really heard much about the game.
Recently though, it has been announced that PlanetSide 2 will be making it's way to PlayStation 4 this year, and it should be playable by the public before the end of the first half of 2014, if not a few months beforehand.
I personally haven't had much time inside the world of PlanetSide 2, but from hearing other's opinions and reviews, it definitely looks like a very interesting game you could bury yourself

Along with Watch Dogs, Tom Clancy's the Division is one of the few upcoming games I'm truly looking forward to. The game looks like a lot of great fun, and I've always been a fan of the Tom Clancy games.
If you're looking forward to the game as much as I am, you'll be excited to see some newly released screenshots of the game.
So far, not only is Tom Clancy's the Division looking to be one of the most interesting upcoming games in terms of playability, but it's starting to look very, very impressive in terms of graphical quality too.
The Snowdrop engine that is running Tom Clancy's the Division should make sure that the game looks beautiful and plays incredibly smoothly, but as always with "press ready" screenshots like these, we'll have to expect that these screenshots have been taken in the best environment possible, and i'm eagerly awaiting some true, unscripted gameplay footage.
Some gamers are speaking their concerns about the Division, and are worried that

Before the release of the PlayStation 4, The Order 1866 was one of the games that was unveiled, along with a bunch of launch window titles. However, a proper release date for the game hasn't been given, and we're still unsure when we'll actually get to play the game.
A new conversation on twitter between Sony Santa Monica Director TD Moss, and the founder of Ready at Dawn Studios, Andrea Pessino, seems to suggest that The Order 1866 will be ready and released in Fall 2014.
In a line of tweets and replies, TD Moss said "looking forward to what you make it do next fall! No pressure ;-P," to which Andrea Pessino replied "yeah, me too! ;)"
On their own, even the exchange of winking faces seems to suggest that these two know something that the rest of don't, so it's likely that even though it hasn't been made official yet, The Order 1866 development

Although the launch of Gran Turismo 6 won't even hit till the very end of 2013, the 7th game in the franchise may arrive in 2014, which is a very unusual schedule for Polyphony Digital.
Talking to Top Gear, Polyphony Digital's CEO Kazunori Yamauchi has revealed that the they would like to get Grand Turismo 7 out as soon as possible. Although Top Gear made an article with the title "Grand Turismo 7 is Coming in 2014" the truth of the matter is slightly different.
Kazunori said "We don't want to take too long on Gran Turismo 7. Best-case scenario? Next year. In GT6 we really had to tune the software 100 per cent to maximize the PS3's architecture, but of course the PS4's hardware is much better, so I think the overall quality of the game across the board will be boosted when you come to play it".
This does mean that if everything goes to plan, Gran Turismo 7 could be available for the
