Warcraft Expansion to be Fastest Selling PC Game out there.Blizzard announced that they have sold over 4.7 million copies of Cataclysm (with 3.3 million on its opening day/midnight release). While technically it isn't a full game, as it is an expansion, it did beat out the previous holder of the title. Guess what it is? No, not Hello Kitty's Island Adventure (sorry Butters), but the previous expansion Wraith of the Lich King.
This is a surprise, when an expansion is beating out full games. I guess Blizzard knows how to keep the PC people happy, by responding immediately to community demand and making us give into our addiction. Now if you excuse me, I gotta find out why I'm not geared enough for my Holy Human Paladin to get into Heroic Deadmines.

Games - Pokemon and its Generations
Poke'mon is the real deal. It's been around since 1996 and it's still ticking. I don't think people know to the degree in which Poke'mon was and still sort of is, a big deal. People have written books about Poke'mon. Written about it's ridiculous ability to pull and captivate not just single people into it's cute little world, but entire quadrants of our society.
Poke'mon started as a japanese manga and then transformed into two Game Boy games. Poke'mon Red and Blue (Green if you lived in Japan at the time of it's original release.) The core essence of Poke'mon's world was that younger teenagers left their home,

Girl Gaming - Sony to Accessorize for Girls
Just in time for Evil Controllers upcoming Girl Gamer Month, Sony will be releasing a PSP bundle for girls (among others) in February. Dubbed the Value Pack for Girls, the bundle will include a Blossom Pink PSP-3000, headphones, a fluffy pouch, and a pink screen cleaner, as shown in the picture from Kotaku.

A Ghost-centered Call of Duty Prequel in the works? Well that's what's being talked about rumor-wise lately. A lot of rumors with that Infinity Ward is working on the next Call of Duty which will take part in the past and focus on MW2's Ghost and how he became a member of Task Force 141. While these are just rumors, Infinity Ward's Community Manager's Robert Bowling has not confirmed but has not denied anything.
In addition it looks like that since it is Infinity Ward, it could be likely that if the rumors were true, they will build

Game Art by Ryan Shiu
Ryan Shiu, a talented illustrator, animator and graphic designer, developed Pikasm in 2009. Shiu is one of the few artists who can bring an original touch to some of our favorite and classic video games and animated characters. Many artists attempt to capture some of the most epic moments from The Legend of Zelda but none come close to the visual creativity that Shiu is able to produce. Unfortunately Shiu has not updated his website since its birth, but much of the art work he has produced continues to be making its way across the world wide web. You

League of Gaming Continues in Video Game Industry
If you've followed competitive gaming at all, then you've heard of MLG. Major League Gaming has been around since 2002 fighting tooth and nail for the legitimacy of competitive gaming. The uphill battle of bringing competitive gaming to the mainstream has since been won. While MLG doesn't necessarily bring in the ridiculous large market shares like the NFL, MLG has come a long way.
It was announced a few weeks back that MLG has raised over $50 million dollars in funding. For a company that's been around for only 8 years, that's quite an achievement. According to MLG's own research they reach over 4.5 million users a month with over 600,000 unique

Nintendo Game only Half Done
At E3 2010, announcements of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword had critics and gamers alike swooning over the newest installment in the popular franchise. According to sources then, the game would not take an extraordinarily long time to finish and would arrive fairly soon. It was stated then that production was running smoothly and it could be expected shortly.
However, Shigeru Miyamoto, Nintendos head honcho, recently stated Skyward Sword was over half complete, leading people to believe that it wont be coming as soon as hoped. Miyamoto said nothing further on the subject, a total shock compared to all of the messages of the past several months, and especially statements from July 2010 saying Skyward Sword would be released in early 2011. Furthermore, Miyamoto said the game was in the final stages at E3, with a few more dungeons and final touches to add, but apparently, what pushed it back was a new graphical style that will be more colorful

Black Ops goes for a record number of
CEO Bobby Kotick claimed earlier in 2010 that Call of Duty is a networking phenomenon as it is a video gaming one. Activision decided to back that up by posting the numbers that proved so...and showed that they also surpassed Facebook's numbers. With more than 20 million users on COD: Black Ops, the game and its players have logged more than 600 million hours between its release and December 24th, 2010. Computing that, it means the average player has played around 87 minutes per day, while Facebook's per-day average usage amongst its people is 55 minutes per day.
"...more than 20 million users on Call of Duty: Black Ops logged more than 600 million hours of playtime between the
