In a new announcement, Bandai Namco have revealed that Tekken 7 will have a brand new game mechanic that could help some players who struggle adapting to different sides of the screen.
Within Tekken 7, players will now be able to head into the settings menu and choose which side they would like their character to be displayed on. Once chosen, players will be able to jump into a game, and the camera will either remain stable, or will flip, depending on what side the player chose within the settings menu.
In previous Tekken games, players were forced to play on whichever side of the screen was assigned to them, so this new feature in Tekken 7 should come as a pleasant surprise.
To explain it better - imagine player 1 gets paired up against a player online. Player 1 takes the left side of the screen, whilst player 2 takes the right side. Player 1 may have put the right side as their preference, and as a result, the camera will be flipped to make it appear as if their character

New screenshots of Tekken 7 have hit the internet that show off a few aspects of the game, including two characters new to the franchise. The first new character shown in official screens has been named as Claudio. Not many details have been given about Claudio, besides from the fact that he dons a white cloak, and some players have made relations to Maxi from the Soul Calibur series.
Another character in the screens by the name of Katarina has also been revealed, but once again, details on this character have been left out. Both characters can be seen in the image shown above. Along with the two new characters, Tekken 7 will host all previous characters seen in previous games in the franchise.
Whilst Tekken 7 is still under development a few arcades in Japan have the game available for play, and players have reported that the game will come with a few new gameplay mechanics, including Power Crush, a new ability that allows players to take hits from the opponent whilst trying

It looks like everybody is jumping on the 'port-your-games-to-the-new-gen' band wagon, including Team Ninja, who have confirmed that they plan to bring Dead or Alive 5: Last Round to the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One, despite it being a game that released two years ago.
Dead Or Alive 5: Last Round will come with a range of improvements, including graphical changes, and most likely a frame rate and resolution increase for the PS4 and the Xbox One.
Dead Or Alive 5: Last Round will release for the PS3 and Xbox 360 too, however only a digital version will be available for last gen consoles, whilst both a physical and a digital version will be available for the Xbox One and PS4.
Whilst there is no concrete release date for Dead Or Alive 5: Last Round, Team Ninja have mentioned that it will make it's way to the world in Spring 2015 for all four Sony and Microsoft consoles currently in the spotlight.
DOA 5: Last Round will include characters that didn't make it into

The latest Killer Instinct title for Xbox One has taken quite an odd approach to free-to-play, and in my opinion it has worked quite well. By featuring a rotation system similar to that found in popular MOBA League of Legends, players can get a taste of all the characters in Killer Instinct, and splash out on the game if they feel a certain attachment to a character they have had the chance to play.
To keep things interesting though, Iron Galaxy Studios have planned to throw in more characters into the roster, and once season 2 kicks off, Killer Instinct will see it's first set of new characters.
Probably the most interesting addition to season 2 will be Maya, a character that has only been seen in one other game in the franchise, Killer Instinct 2, back in 1996. Maya is an Amazonian warrior who banished the evil dark lord Gargos to become the queen of Amazonia.
The second character announced for season 2 was thought by many to be Cinder, a fire based fighter, but this

The last couple of days have been filled with strange postings and hints towards the next Mortal Kombat title, and today it has finally been announced. Mortal Kombat 10, or what the developers are calling Mortal Kombat X, has now had an official trailer released for it, and things are looking pretty interesting.
The trailer for Mortal Kombat X starts with what looks like cinematic footage, but it neatly transitions into real gameplay, at which point you start to realize just how good looking the new Mortal Kombat game is going to be.
The first hint towards the Mortal Kombat X reveal trailer came in the form of a Tweet from Wiz Khalifa, which was certainly quite odd. Wiz Khalifa posted an image that read 'Who's Next?' As well as a date in Roman numerals. The date read "VI.II.MMXIV" which translates to 2nd June 2014, which is the day Mortal Kombat received a big reveal.
Ed Boon followed up with Tweet by writing "Yes you are Next @wizkhalifa !! On June 2nd Kombat Kontinues...

Kiether Sutherland, the man behind 24's Jack Bauer, and the English voice actor for Big Boss in Hideo Kojima's upcoming Metal Gear Solid 5, (both the Phantom Pain and Ground Zeroes) has apparently been doing some voice work for an upcoming Mortal Kombat game.
In an interview with IGN, Sutherland revealed that he had done a bit of additional voice acting work besides MGSV, and decided to mention that he had been involved with voice acting for a Mortal Kombat game.
Sutherland said "I did Mortal Kombat, and that's such a huge game, but it's so not like Metal Gear Solid 5." We've not yet seen Sutherland's acting in any released Mortal Kombat game, so although it's not 100% confirmed, it sounds as if NetherRealm Studios has got another MK game in the works.
Creative director for the Mortal Kombat series, Ed Boon, did confirm at one point in 2012 that the next title in the franchise would most likely be available for next gen consoles, so perhaps we can expect a new fighting

Free to Play PlayStation 3 Beat'em up Tekken Revolution has just received a new patch that adds a new character to the playable roster, as well as changing a few other things around in game, too.
Namco Bandai has revealed that the new update, which is now available to download, includes Jaycee, a character who was first seen in Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and has a Lucha Libre wrestling fighting style. Jaycee is in fact a masked version of Julia Chang, who was first seen in Tekken 3.
This new patch adds a few new things to the game to celebrate Valentine's day as well, and also adds a few tweaks and fixes to the flow of Tekken Revolution. One of the new changes has made it possible to get an increased chance to be a lucky winner with the Blood Seal Jackpot, however this deal was only available from the 14th of February to the 19th of February.
Prices for premium effects have also now been lowered in a sale, but will go back to full price on February 24th.

If you haven't quite found the perfect character for your preferences in Killer Instinct, you may want to check out the new DLC that will be arriving to the game.
The new DLC includes Spinal, a character that has been around since the origins of Killer Instinct, and, like the rest of the game's current character roster, he has undergone massive changes to his appearance.
It's still easy to tell it's Spinal though, but the graphics upgrade given to him certainly makes him look like a badass. Spinal can be purchased for $5 as a DLC addition. It's unclear at this point whether it will be included in the $40 Ultra Edition that originally came with the first eight characters, accessory packs, costumes and the original Killer Instinct as an arcade game, but it's likely that you will have to throw out another 5 bucks for Spinal.
No details have been given on when the Spinal DLC will be available yet, but it's probably going to reach Xbox
