During the Destiny 2 live stream, changes to the Crucible were announced live.
It's been confirmed that the Destiny 2 Crucible PvP mode will have more of a focus on competitive gameplay. As a result, the mode has been adapted to better fit a competitive format. Going forward, all Crucible game modes in Destiny 2 will feature a 4 versus 4 team line up. In the first Destiny, PvP modes supported up to 6 versus 6.
On top of that, all of the previous Crucible game modes from Destiny will be making their return to Destiny 2. A brand new game mode was also confirmed during the Destiny 2 live stream event.
The new Destiny 2 Crucible game mode is called Countdown - it's essentially an attack and defend mode that will give teams the objective to either defend or attack. Objectives for each team will alternate each round.
More changes are coming to the Crucible in Destiny 2 to make it more of a competitive arena. New information will be shared during the game to give each

Anybody remember the announcement for Overkill's The Walking Dead game? It was quite some time ago, but it excited the entire gaming industry.
Unfortunately, Overkill's The Walking Dead has now been delayed even further and we're unlikely to see a release date until 2018. The estimated release window for the game has now been set for the second half of 2018 by the development team behind the project.
For those unaware, Overkill is the same team behind the popular Payday franchise. Payday 2 currently sits at roughly 10,000 peak concurrent users on Steam each day. Overkill hopes to create a game for The Walking Dead that incorporates co-op gameplay, storytelling, and robust level design that will help to heighten the game's replay value.
While the delay is bad news for those hoping to get their hands on a new The Walking Dead game, it shows the developers aren't stuck to any time restrictions, so the end product should hopefully be well polished and closer to their initial

Destiny 2 has been announced and rumors of a Call of Duty WW2 release in 2017 are circulating the internet.
The biggest news this week comes from the Bungie camp. Finally, after months of us knowing it was coming, Bungie has announced Destiny 2. The upcoming game is set to release later this year and should come to PS4, Xbox One and PC.
This time around, Bungie may have learned from their mistakes on their first release for the Destiny universe. So far, we have had a single Destiny reveal trailer, and it already showcases more character and liveliness than perhaps the entirety of the first Destiny game.
Fans that were disappointed about the lack of story and scale in the first Destiny title are definitely going to be excited about Destiny 2.
We've also heard rumors that the next Call of Duty game will be inspired by the events of WW2. After seeing EA's back-in-time success with Battlefield 1, it comes as no surprise that Activision may have ordered one of the

You can blame EA for this one. Mass Effect Andromeda will be receiving microtransactions.
The microtransactions in Mass Effect Andromeda will be included alongside the base price of the game and the season pass for the future DLC content. The microtransactions available will allow users to purchase 'Andromeda points' which is currently understood to be a currency that will be used in the multiplayer portion of Mass Effect Andromeda.
The description online retailers have been using for the Andromeda points packs is shown below.
"Andromeda Points are an in-game currency for the Mass Effect: Andromeda Multiplayer mode only. These points can be purchased with real world currency and can be used instead of the earned in-game currency to obtain new Multiplayer packs, which contain items used in the Multiplayer mode."
Unfortunately, we do not know what the multiplayer packs will include, or whether these packs will provide users with benefits or buffs. Hopefully, EA

Still not sure about whether to purchase Ghost Recons: Wildlands? An upcoming open beta will be the perfect time for you to give it a try before you buy.
There has already been a limited closed beta for Ghost Recon: Wildlands, but Ubisoft has now confirmed that an open beta will be made available to the public before the game releases.
No definitive date has been set for the open beta, but considering that the game releases on March 7, it's definitely going to be put online sometime between now and early March.
It could be possible that the open beta will be put online as close as the weekend before the game releases, as this has been a tactic used by Ubisoft in the past. While the word beta was synonymous with glitches and bugs, the open beta for Ghost Recon: Wildlands will hopefully be mostly bug-free. The servers may struggle a little bit, but this should be the perfect test for Ubisoft to ensure everything is in working order before the final release on March 7.

A new open beta has been planned for For Honor, so if you're interested check out the details in this article.
Ubisoft has confirmed that the dates for the open beta will be from February 9 to February 12. During these dates, the beta will be playable. The upcoming open beta will include the game modes from the previous beta, as well as a few new inclusions.
Making a debut will be the Elimination mode - in this mode, players will be placed on two teams of four. The objective is simple - eliminate the players on the other team. Once a player dies, they'll have to sit out until the next round. The Elimination mode features a best of five format, so the first team to three rounds wins the match.
Making a return to the upcoming For Honor open beta will be the Brawl, Duel, and Dominion modes, as well as 9 out of the 12 total playable heroes. The War of the Factions persistent game mode will also be returning in the February For Honor beta.
For Honor will get a full

It's almost been two years since the first DICE Battlefront game, and now another one is on the horizon.
The first DICE-EA Battlefront tile may not have been accepted well by the community, but DICE has had chance to learn from their mistakes and they're hoping Battlefront 2 will be appreciated by FPS and Star Wars fans alike.
First things first, the new Battlefront 2 game is slated for a Holiday 2017 release, which means it'll most likely arrive around the same time of the year the first Battlefront title did in 2015. DICE will also be getting help this time round from another studio. The studio which has been hired to help out is none other than Criterion, the same guys behind the explosive Burnout video game series.
Another newly formed development team named Motive Studios will also be helping out. So far we're not sure how much of a part either of the other two developers will play in the development process, but DICE will be the main team, with Criterion and Motive

Killing Floor 2 has finally left early access on PC and that means it's coming to Steam and the PS4 as a full release title.
If you're unfamiliar with the franchise, Killing Floor is a zombie shoot 'em up title that's gory, violent and filled with fast-paced action. The most fun you'll get out of Killing Floor 2 is within the round based survival mode - you'll need to survive for as long as possible, using whatever weapons you can get your hands on. Think of Black Ops Zombies but with much, much more blood.
Killing Floor 2 is also a great co-op game to play with friends and it'll certainly make a night-in more interesting than ever before.
The trailer showcases assault rifles, flamethrowers, shotguns and all sorts of other weapons in the player's hands as he and his team of friends group up to take down an onslaught of zombies, and other undead creatures.
Killing Floor 2 has received a very positive rating from players and critics so far, with a 77/100 metascore

New details about the single player portion of Battlefield 1 have been released by DICE.
In the new trailer and promo content on the Battlefield website, it has been revealed that the singleplayer in Battlefield 1 will have a number of separate 'War Stories.'
Each of the War Stories will have their own story, their own objectives and their own objectives with unique abilities. Each story will offer a different depiction of World War 1 and will put focus on a number of different characters.
This means that instead of one single campaign and one protagonist, the Battlefield 1 main storyline will have multiple stories and characters. It's likely that each individual mission will be a 'War Story' and players will get the chance to experience all sorts of different gameplay that Battlefield 1 has to offer.
For example, in one War Story, players will be playing as the right-hand man of Lawrence of Arabia. The objective will be to locate an armored train, find the supplies

If you are planning to purchase the digital version of Battlefield 1, or have already made a digital pre-order, you may be happy to hear that Amazon is offering a version of the Collector's Edition without the disc. This means that owners of the digital version of Battlefield 1 are given the opportunity to buy the extra in-game content and physical bonuses without having to fork out for the copy of the game for a second time.
This also gives an upgrade option for physical Battlefield 1 owners that would like to get the extra content. Without the disc you can pick up the collector's edition for $129.99. On the other hand, the version without the game costs $189.99. The Xbox One version is currently available for $209.99 on Amazon, so the non-disc version is certainly good on your wallet when compared to the other versions. It's great that EA has finally given us the option to be able to purchase the extra content without buying the game again.
You may be wondering what is included
