OpTic gaming has managed to hit their second consecutive Halo World Championship win this month after they faced up against EnVyUs in the grand finals.
OpTic has been dominating the Halo scene recently. Unfortunately, they didn't quite perform as well as they may have liked to throughout the majority of the Halo World Championship. EnVyUs, on the other hand, looked as if they had the entire championship in the bag.
Even though they had performed incredibly well during the tournament, we weren't ruling out the nV grand final win. In fact, to begin with, EnVyUs had won 12 games in a row. By the time EnVyUs had reached the finals, they had only lost a total of two games. With the two teams facing off in the finals, it looked as if EnVyUs could have easily taken the game from OpTic's grasp after the incredible performance from EnVyUs earlier in the tournament.
Things took a turn for the worst

A big update for Xbox One is on its way and it's going to add a few new features to the current user experience.
One of the biggest features will appeal to esports fans and competitive players on the Xbox platform. ESL has partnered with Xbox to create the Arena. The Arena will be a brand new way for competitive players and teams to find upcoming tournaments and esports events to attend.
With the built-in Arena tools, teams will be able to sign up for tournaments, take part, and see match fixtures live from within the Arena app. To begin with, Arena will be hosting a number of ESL-backed World of Tanks tournaments. Arena is expected to include tournaments for more games in the future as well.
Another milestone feature included in the next Xbox One update will be custom Gamertag pictures. Ever since the early days of the Xbox 360, Gamertags pictures have been limited to those that have been unlocked from playing games or those purchased through the Xbox Games Store.

The Xbox Game Pass has been announced and it's seeking to be the Netflix of gaming.
The newly announced Xbox Game Pass will cost users a monthly fee of $9.99, but with it will come unlimited access to over 100 titles. Unlike Netflix, users of the Xbox Game Pass will be able to download their games and play them - there will be no limit to the amount of games a player can download at once, as long as they have enough internal memory and their Xbox Game Pass subscription is still active.
Some of the games included in the Game Pass are older titles that can be picked up for cheap, both digitally and in physical form, but a lot of the games are recent releases. Most titles on the list so far are considered to be very decent games, too.
Highlights of the Game Pass include access to Halo 5: Guardians, Gears of War Judgment, Gears of War Ultimate Edition and NBA 2K16. The Xbox Game Pass also includes a number of classic Xbox 360 titles and arcade games such as Kameo, Hexic

Halo Wars 2 is now available for Xbox One and Windows 10, across most regions. So far, critics have taken a liking to the real-time strategy game sequel, but the game isn't quite complete.
If you were a diehard Halo Wars fan, you'll know that a big part of the multiplayer aspect focused on the leaderboards and ranking system. Thousands of players would compete to be the very best, and this kind of competitive atmosphere helped to keep the Halo Wars name alive strong after the initial release date.
In Halo Wars 2 there isn't a competitive ranking system at launch, but it's for what we think is a good reason. David Nicholson, the executive producer at Creative Assembly, mentioned that they decided not to add competitive ranking at launch, "Because we want to make sure the balance is there. We think we've got the game well-balanced, with the two betas we had. But we continually make those balance changes. Our plan is to bring it out, but just not at launch."

Wondering what Xbox One arcade sticks are available? This article will feature some of the top sticks available for Xbox One players.
MayFlash F300
Despite the low price of $60, the MayFlash F300 has a lot to offer. It is on the small side of things, but it's got everything you need to play Street Fighter V or other fighting games competitively.
The F300 default stick and buttons are fairly responsive, but it's easy to mod them with higher quality equipment. In fact, the easy modding of the F300 is one of the biggest selling points - it's a great starter stick, but with a bit more investment it can be something to compete with other top tiered players. The smaller size makes it perfect for esports events and LANs too.
Razer Atrox Arcade Stick
With a $199 price tag, the Razer Atrox arcade stick is more in line with other high-end sticks. Although the standard layout will do you well, you can customize the Razer Atrox easily

Details for the DLC content for Dead Rising 4 has been announced by Capcom. The upcoming game will feature a number of DLC releases, all of which will be available as part of the deluxe edition.
Alternatively, players can pick up the standard version of Dead Rising 4 and purchase the season pass in December. The other option is to purchase the base game and then purchase the DLC packs seperately once they are released some time after the launch of Dead Rising 4.
The first DLC pack for Dead Rising 4 will feature a number of holiday themed items and will be called the Stocking Stuffer Holiday Pack. This first pack will include vehicles, zombies, and costumes, all of which will be based around the holiday theme. The Stocking Stuffer Holiday Pack will most likely launch before the end of 2016.
The next DLC pack to launch will be golf themed mode. Player can play with up to three of their friends online in an eighteen hole golf course. Instead of water and long grass, zombies

Backwards compatibility on the Xbox One is a big thing for some gamers, but it doesn't come with its own little hiccups. Halo Reach has been available on the Xbox One via the backwards compatibility feature for a while now, but the performance for the game has been terrible.
Until now, players have struggled to play Halo Reach on the Xbox One without having juttery frames, freezes and crashes. Thankfully a brand new patch has been released for Halo Reach that has been designed to fix all the performance issues entirely.
The new update has been confirmed to help with frame rate on Halo Reach and from early tests it seems as if the game is now running as smooth as ever. Not only is Halo Reach on the Xbox One now working smoothly, but in some cases it has a higher frame rate than the original Xbox 360 version.
Now that we know that patches like this are possible for backwards compatible games, we wonder whether it'd ever be possible for a developer to revive a once-popular

Could Gears of War be the next big competitive console game?
With Gears of War eSports gaining more traction, more organizations are starting to pick up Gears teams. In recent happenings, NRG has now picked up their own Gears of War team. The team will compete in upcoming North American events, including the ESL Pro League.
The new Gears of War team has seen a number of different players come together for the first time, but it’s certain that all of the players on the new NRG squad have the potential to do well.
"Long-time teammates Sleepytime and Sicamore, who placed 4th together in both seasons of the ESL Pro-League, are joined by their season 1 teammate Twist3DShot, season 2 teammate Xcells, and; Franko, who placed 4th in the recent Gears eSports North American Open with GOONZ, to create a roster that could prove to have the experience, synergy, and balance of skill-sets to excel in Gears 4. With every member boasting top 4 finishes, the new NRG squad proved to be

Out of nowhere, OpTic Gaming has signed on the old CLG Halo roster to bag themselves a star player team for future Halo events.
The CLG organization previously saw a lot of great results with their Halo team, especially during the Halo 5 eSports era. Their best accomplishments included a win at Halo World Champions and a win at season 1 of the HCS Pro League. It's no doubt then that OpTic Gaming had taken an interest in picking the team up.
If you're a fan of the CLG organization, this may be disappointing news for you, but if you're a fan of the Halo team that was representing CLG, then this change in the Halo scene should only mean good things. The entire team has been transferred over - SnakeBite, Lethul, Royal 2 and Frosty are all going to be a part of the same team still, just from now on they'll be donning OpTic jerseys.
Because of the rules set out by the Halo Pro League, this acquisition will also mean that OpTic will take CLG's spot in season 2 of the Halo

Halo Wars 2 will have all of the key elements of a good real time strategy game, but it will also have some elements that could have only come from completely out of the box thinking at the Halo Wars headquarters.
It has been revealed that a 'mysterious mode' in Halo Wars 2 will offer gameplay that's unlike any RTS experience we have seen before.
Unfortunately we do not have any information about the mysterious Halo Wars 2 mode, besides a small tease from 343 Industries Studio Head Dan Ayoub, who said, "One of the modes, which I can only tease for the time being, is actually a completely new way to play a RTS. It really takes standard RTS gameplay and turns it on its head. And that's a mode that can be played in a shorter time frame as well, like five, six, seven minutes."
It's hard to say whether the new mode will truly turn RTS on it's head, or whether Ayoub's statement was a little overhyped. It seems that they have designed some kind of quick match mode that will
