So far, we know that the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is going to be a very large game, but when it comes to actual file size, we've been very unaware of just how large the title would be.
It's just under four months till the final release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and after many delays we now know a little bit more about the file size of the game, although these details may only apply to the PS4 version of the game.
The open world in The Witcher 3 is expected to be very large, and the developers of the game, Projekt Red, have promised that the game would have over 100 hours of gameplay in it for those willing to explore all of the in-game content.
So, how does that translate to game file size? It turns out there is a pretty big correlation between game longevity and open world size to the overall game file size. The Witcher 3: Big Wild Hunt will be a minimum of 50GB.
We say a minimum because the blu-ray disc is absolutely brimmed full with data, and if any additional

If you haven't had the chance to play State of Decay yet, you might want to wait just a little bit longer before playing the solo zombie survival game. It has just been announced that State of Decay will be getting a new gen remaster for the Xbox One, and Undead Labs plan to release it fairly shortly.
The new remastered version by Undead Labs will be called State of Decay Year One Survival Edition and it will bring remastered graphics, 1080P resolution, as well as a few new gameplay features. The remastered version will also be bundled with both the Lifeline and Breakdown DLC packs that were released earlier in it's release cycle.
A rework has been applied to some of the animations in the new remaster of State of Decay, and improvements have also been made to the environment textures, but that's just the start of the changes. Jeff Strain, founder of Undead Labs has mentioned a few more things about the new version.
"We're taking some of the base management features

DICE has announced that they will be releasing the Heist mode into the upcoming Battlefield Hardline beta, but there is a catch. Players will need to work together as a community to unlock the Heist mode.
A new 'community mission' has been announced for Battlefield 4 players, and it asks players to accumulate a global total of 2 billion points in Battlefield 4's Rush mode. If players manage to reach this goal before the end of the month, then players will be rewarded with the Heist mode for Battlefield Hardline.
Whilst this seems like an odd move to get more people playing Battlefield 4 in anticipation for Hardline, I have a feeling that the 2 billion Rush points should easily be reached. In fact, I expect that the average amount of weekly Rush points is close enough to two billion anyway so players should not have to worry about getting the Heist mode unlocked for the Hardline beta.
If you do want to do your part, you can head into Battlefield 4 and play through any

MMO fans rejoice, the news you've been waiting to hear since the PC release of the Elder Scrolls Online is finally ready to be heard. That's right, due to a lack of interest, Zenimax have opted to drop the monthly subscription of the Elder Scrolls Online, and it will be opening the game to all players for free.
The new version of the game has been named The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited, and whilst new players will still need to purchase the base price of the game, the monthly subscription afterwards will no longer be required. Instead, there will be optional in-game content that can be purchased as DLC content, and players can also purchase in-game currency to spend on certain cosmetic and customization options.
I think it's great to hear that The Elder Scrolls Online has dropped the subscription model. Simply having a one-off fee for the game should be enough as it is, especially considering the game costs as much as a new console game.

A new Master Chief Collection update has been planned to improve online matchmaking, but strangely 343 Industries will not make the update available to all players straight away.
The update, which has since been delayed, was planned to fix many issues with the current in-game matchmaking system. Whilst 343 Industries did mention that they would release the update this month, new plans reveal that most players will not get to experience the update at all.
Before full release, the matchmaking update will be pushed to a select few US beta participants, and these members will be able to help stress test the matchmaking before it is finally rolled out globally.
To enter the beta process and be in with a chance of entering the matchmaking beta, you must reside in the US and join the Xbox One preview program. 343 Industries gave a small statement about the update.
"In recent weeks, we have been conducting extensive internal testing of an upcoming content update for

Oh, hurrah - Gearbox seem to be gearing up for yet another Borderlands game. If you haven't become bored of the franchise already, then you might be excited to hear this news. If you are bored of Borderlands, keep reading, this new game might offer something a little different if a new job listing is anything to go by.
Gearbox president, Randy Pitchford took to Twitter to post an image asking for any individuals in the games industry to send their CVs to Randy's personal email. In the image, the words "Next Borderlands Team" were written, alongside lots of silhouetted figures. The phrase "This could be you" were written all over the image, which almost suggests that Randy and the guys at Gearbox are looking for a fairly large amount of new people to join their team.
We've seen a few 'we're hiring' posts by developers in the past that inadvertently lead to us discovering about new upcoming games a little early, but these kind of posts usually offer a handful of positions at

Disney's purchase of Lucasarts may have caused a few upcoming Star Wars games to be canned, but it looks like the Star Wars name may now be force pushed further into the industry as rumors suggest Disney are gearing up to release another game from the same universe.
According to the rumors circulating around the supposed Star Wars game, the new title will feature Han Solo as the protagonist. Whilst we know little about the gameplay of the rumored Han Solo game, many believe that the title may end up something a little like the Uncharted series.
If that is the case, we sure can expect some interesting 3D platforming as well as a lot of explosive action, and maybe a Wookie or two along the way as well. The source of the rumors also suggest that part of the same team currently working on Battlefield Hardline will move over to working on the Han Solo game.
DICE already has ties with the Star Wars universe and they are currently working on the new gen Battlefront title,

It's always best to be a little skeptical at this time of the year. Around this time, we usually start to hear a thing or two about the next Call of Duty game, but across multiple development teams, it's easy for false information to start circulating.
With that being said, a current rumor spreading across the internet suggests that the next Call of Duty game will be a sequel to the original World at War. Before we get into the likelihood of such a thing happening or not, I just have to say that a world war game would be an incredibly refreshing change, and I'd absolutely love to see such a game reach the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.
In reality though, we can't quite be sure if World at War will be the next Call of Duty game or not. The leak comes from a fairly unreputable source on Twitter. Despite this, it has caused quite a big stir up in the community, and the same leaker has posted similar 'Call of Duty leaks' in the past.

It looks like Turn 10 have been busy. The next iteration in the lineup of Forza Motorsport games has been announced. Forza Motorsport 6 will be launching exclusively on Xbox One, and Microsoft have teamed up with Ford to give the new Ford GT a starring role in the game.
Whilst we weren't expecting such an early announcement of Forza 6, Microsoft took to the North American International Auto Show to announce the new game, and it's clear that the Ford GT will be the car to feature on the cover of the upcoming game by Turn 10.
The release of Forza Motorsport 6 will mark the tenth year anniversary of the game series, so as you can imagine, Turn 10 are feeling like doing something pretty special with the game. Alan Hartman, studio manager for Turn 10 mentioned that, "When we first were doing these, it would be kind of like, 'Hey please, can we have that new car you showed in Detroit?' That's where we were back 10 years ago. But over the last three or four years, the involvement
