So sorry to inform you but Gears is being pushed back until Fall 2011.The game was supposed to be released in spring 2011, but Epic Games and Microsoft decided that was too early. Games - NBA Jam sets Politicians against each other
Taking a page from the old NBA Jam games, there will be political figures in NBA Jam. EA's latest game in the franchise will feature the political figures of today including Sarah Palin, George W. Bush, John McCain, and President Obama.
Thankfully, both sides of the aisle will be represented and will have actual teams based on their parties of both Republican and Democrat and will have their own uniforms and home courts. So far it's been confirmed to be included on the Wii at the moment but they're likely to be on the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions in an upcoming update.
Now it's only a matter of time before

Games - Medal of Honor to be like EA's Call of Duty?
Spending a lot of my time with Halo: Reach and other gaming distractions, I'm left to decipher the opinions of others when it comes to Medal of Honor. EA has obviously spent an incredible amount of money advertising this franchise, but even if this Medal of Honor turns out not to be that great, it won't all be superfluous. To be clear, EA hasn't spent money on just this game, they've spent the marketing dollars on a blitz to revive the name, the juggernaut, the franchise for the inevitable Medal of Honor 2.
Reviews across the board are giving this game an adequate score. Metacritic.com,

Games - Lots of lots of Halo Game Content
It's no secret, sequels kill. On the business end, sequels just make sense; gamers want them and investors can have faith that a follow up to a successful game will be equally successful. Sequels get green lit on a regular basis, but how often is too often?
Last week Phil Spencer, Corporate Vice President for Microsoft Game Studios, told IGN that, "There's no explicit strategy that says we're to ship a Halo game every year. I will say I think one Halo game every three years -- which was kind of our old cadence "€œ is probably not frequent enough."
Spencer goes on to explain that the issue is staying

Industry News - Obama's connections with technology
Regardless of how you feel about Obama or his politics he hasn't been known to be a huge gaming advocate, but he has been known as someone that understands technology. Upon entering the White House he openly complained about the technological limitations of the White House saying, "It is kind of like going from an Xbox to an Atari."Â
Obama has always had an appreciation and understanding of technology, his campaign was run by people that were technologically savvy and his methods changed the way in which future presidential campaigns will be run. However, during his first years, videogames were something Obama just wasn't familiar with, in his

Games - Air Jordan to return in digital form!
Control is the name of the game. Being able to fake left and go right. For all the NBA fans, NBA 2k11 is bringing control right to your hands. Players will be able to control their favorites like Kobe Bryant, Lebron James and Dwayne Wade like they never have before. If you want to side step before you crossover, spin-move then go behind the back or step back for a pull up jump shot, YOU CAN! NBA fans should be excited for this game; I mean Michael Jordan is on the cover this year. When was the last time we saw Jordan attached to a video game? Most sports games are very repetitive and rarely have any new and better features then the previous year, but with NBA 2k11 that will change. NBA 2k11 will be released October 5th.

Gears of War 3 won't be out till April 5th 2011, so until then, Sega's got your back.
Vanquish is a third-person cover based shooter inspired by the success of Gears of War. The man behind the title is Shinji Makami, more famously known as the father of Resident Evil. Vanquish is Platinum Games' attempt to break into the American market. Something they weren't able to do with Bayonetta and MadWorld.
Vanquish attempts to appeal to both the western and eastern audiences, but it's still a very Japanese game. It's got all of the Japanese trademarks: non-realistic settings, humans stylized like 3D anime, mechs, and ridiculously large boss sequences. Platinum games is doing to Gears of War, what's it's done to Devil May Cry with Bayonetta, adding a gratuitous amount of over the top action. However, it's also adding complexity to the game's core mechanic, cover based shooting. Gears of War fans may find the game's screen seemingly cluttered and not as streamlined
